It would be pretty cool if the service department answered calls, it'd be even cooler if the service department returned calls after being left messages. Follow up: No worries about getting me back as a customer, I called the Post Falls dealership, they answered within two rings (crazy I know) and I have a service appointment on Monday. At least I know where I'll be taking all my business moving forward.

I went to the dealership for regularly scheduled maintenance. They rotated my tires. 3 days later I had to call Good Sams roadside service has my front tires were falling off. I left several messages for the manager, sent emails without any responses. After a couple of weeks I finally got a phone call back but no apologize for what could have been a horrible accident on the highway. The quality of work at this dealership has gone way down hill. In the 3 years I since I purchased my Volkswagen from AutoNation I have taken it a few time to other shops for oil changes. I am always disappointed and return to AutoNation for their exceptional service on my car. Their customer service and attention to detail is a five star rating. I only gave a 4 as with any dealership or high quality you pay a little more.

Eric was super helpful and attentive. He found my needle in a hay stack. The car he found and I bought has everything I wanted. The process was quick and relatively easy paying for it, I did not need any financing. The interior cleaning crew was not as thorough as I had hoped for but maybe they will offer me another good detailed Complementary cleaning down the road. They replaced the windshield, which was super fast and easy too, thank you Eric and Grizzly Auto Glass.

The service shop has been a very painful experience. I have taken it twice to this shop. I have yet to have someone answer my call anytime I’ve called. The first service time they never called to let me know my car was done and had to pay for my own ride back to the dealership. Second time I scheduled an oil change only to wait close to three hours. Not sure what’s the point of an appointment. Auto nation sells you a service plan that is a poor product.

We dropped off the car on 24 February and did not get it back for 4 weeks. Multiple reasons and understandably so since the extent of damage was unknown (2013 Golf R). I want to make this very clear - great work was done and we are very happy with the outcome. However, if your case manager is Brandon - run away. Would not return calls, wasn't in the office, etc. To be fair, personal things may have been involved and I do not know but his level of communication was unsatisfactory. We repeatedly called to get updates and crickets were heard. In his place the shop foreman, Rich essentially took over and provided us with updates and data. In my opinion, Rich went out of his way to contact us and by definition did something adding value to the company and not his responsibility - therefore should get a raise! Overall we are happy with the work done.

If you're looking for a new car stop by here first. This is the only dealership on Sprague where I was met with respect and talked to with like a real person. No high pressure sales tactics involved. Ask for Brandon Neer, he'll take care of you.

At first making my appointment for my car someone always answered the phone now my car has been there Monday till now Saturday. I have called multiple times no return calls back when I did the person was rude and was like yeah the part just came in (weds) and I said it’s fine id just like updated (which each person told me they would do) then they tell me to pick up Friday. I’m not driving there unless they tell me my car is ready and I can’t even get a phone call back. I understand only 2 people are working but why isn’t someone just handling the phones a third person maybe? I chist find this to be poor communication and after my car is back in my possession I will be taking it else where for car problems. Thank god I got a rental from them though ! Was the only good thing

This dealership is what one hopes for but all too often doesn’t see these days. They’re knowledgeable and helpful. They don’t pressure and they don’t take advantage of current supply chain issues. They don’t price-gouge. Spencer and Eric both helped me with my purchase, and I can recommend them to any buyer.

Had to visit the shop to make an appointment. BUT, I understand that they are slammed right now. On appointment day they could not have been nicer. Got my car right in and done so quickly. The only (small) complaint I have is that I wish that they had told me the things on the list that needed replacing NOW (ie Wiperblades) I would have had them do them right there. I would rather pay them than have the incorrect ones put on elsewhere. Other than that, they are super friendly, super efficient, and I highly recommend.

I initially tried to call and make an appointment but no one answered the phone. I left a message on my 2nd try and no one returned my call. Finally, I chatted with someone online and got an appointment for the next day. We brought the car in at 8:00 a.m. and was told it would be done about noon. No called by 3:00, called service desk, no answer, left message, no answer. Finally we drove down and the car was done but was at a different location due to remodeling of the service Bay Area (understandable). I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes to get car. I heard from another customer that they had made phone calls and no one answered. Also, you have to stand against a wall at the service desk and the area is quite small; it needs remodeled also.

The experience we had at this dealership literally exceeds all expectations. This is my third time buying a car and the whole thing was memorable! In a good way of course! Our main sales man was Jordan R and for being new he is great at what he does! Very friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy whatsoever as most people would think salesmen are. For not knowing exactly what we were looking for he gave us all kinds of options. Even with us not being able to get a vehicle we were originally looking at before walking out empty handed and sad we had another gentleman, Spencer jump in and helped out too. Between both Jordan and Spencer you can definitely tell THEY LOVE WHAT THEY DO. Extremely kind and will do what it takes to get you a deal and what you’re looking for even depending on your situation. And after that, during the financial haul of it all, Jordan W makes everything understandable! He as well was so kind and passionate about what he does. The whole transaction was smooth and I truly recommend the gentlemen at this dealership. Thanks for all the help and staying late. We love our new family car! For maintenance (other than oil changes/normal wear and tear) I always take my Beetle to the Volkswagen dealer. They’re very knowledgeable and professional. Sometimes the Audi people are a bit snobby. I wouldn’t rate them highly on customer service. But they can get away with it because they're good at what they do. My biggest complaint is they’re incredibly busy so they’re always booked for two-three months in advance. It’s incredibly annoying when you need maintenance on your daily driver. I like that they take their time and make sure its done right. I prefer that to rushing however, it does mean I never take it in for oil changes/normal wear and tear. Simply don’t have the time to wait 2-3 hours for maintenance I could do myself in half an hour. If you own a modern Volkswagen/Audi, maintenance like wheel alignment, and mechanical work should be taken to the dealer. VW does… weird stuff that sometimes requires specialized tools. So if you want your car to last taking it to the dealer/specialized mechanic is a good idea. Generally the average mechanic is not used to working with VW’s.

Brought in my vehicle to replace a clock spring that wasn’t working. VW had my car for 8 days. They fixed the clock spring. However, they tried to charge me 780$ for a repair that takes 20 minutes. The part cost $230, which they upcharged me $360. They then tried to charge me $420 additional dollars for….I don’t even know what. I complained, and they reduced to rmtotal to $580. I still don’t understand where they get off thinking that anything they did is worth half that much! I’m really discouraged with VW. To the point that I will never buy another one, nor will I ever bring my car back to the dealership for service. I’ll find someone else. They didn’t even correct fluid levels, or explain to me that there was an issue. I did find an obscure check box indicating my brake reservoir needed attention. And….after all that money, they didn’t even wash the car. Every time I took my bmw in for service, I got it back spotless. I will never EVER consider VW again. You shouldn’t either.

I love my Volkswagen Atlas CrossSport. However ever since moving to the area and needing to get work done by the AutoNation service department, I will never buy a Volkswagen or Audi again just so I won’t have to deal with this dealership. AutoNation is the only VW dealership in Spokane so they are the only authorized service center. The next closest is in Idaho. I have had a lot of trouble scheduling an appt because they do not have any capacity and are scheduling out 1+months in advance. That is, if you can get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Currently I have an airbag sensor that needs fixed and I can’t get ahold of anyone to see if they have the part or can schedule an appointment. They are understaffed and and overwhelmed. Additionally, they only do not have loaner cars to use and did not tell me they provided a shuttle service through Lyft until my 2nd appt. I would advise anyone think twice about buying a Volkswagen or Audi in this area due to this issue alone.

I was in the market for a new midsize SUV to replace my Audi A4. I have driven Audi for years and originally was in the market for a Q5. However someone suggested looking at the VW Tiguan. At first I thought, no I'm not a granola eating hippie a VW isn't for me. But I begin to research them online and after a bit of research I decided to go check one out. I originally went to a local dealer near me to look at one. The salesperson showed me one and we even took a drive, however throughout the process the salesperson was texting or playing games on their phone. I liked the value of what I saw and the reputation of VW as a robust and reliable vehicle. I decided to give Audi/ Volswagon Spokane a call since this is were I have been taking my Audi to be serviced for years. From the first phone call the customer service was excellent and throughout the purchase process. I had a lot of questions and they answered them in a professional manner. Every team members was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. So my mind was changed about my previous outdated stereo type of VW. The new VWs are sporty and classy. My experience at Autonation was very pleasant and I would highly recommend them to other Volkswagen owners. I have tried other places to do repairs on my car and Autonation is the only place I feel confident in because they are so knowledgeable and thorough. The only minor thing I noticed at this last visit is that the mechanic who drove my car changed my seat position, the height of my seat and the position of my steering wheel and did not set them back to their original positions. It’s not a big thing but having to readjust everything can be kind of a pain.

After my husband and I were being jerked around at different dealerships, just to find me the car I want, Autonation VW was a relief. We had done research and knew exactly what we wanted. When the other places told us no or they tried to convince us to get something else, Eric knew the 2022 Tiguan was what I wanted, and I wouldn’t settle for less. Between him and Justin, they made it happen! I have my first new car! And it the one I wanted! I also very much appreciate Gavin, who helped with the technology in the new car, as I was lost with it. We have been customers of Spokane VW for 24 years, we bought a 1998 VW and last week we bought a 2022 VW (with a few others in between) and I can honestly say that Spokane VW has not changed - they have great, no pressures staff, who are focused on finding the right car for you, not on getting the sale. I highly recommend you visit them for your next car!

I took my VW Super Beetle in to their shop for what was supposed to be an easy computer chip adjustment for the seat belt and airbag modulator. The VW service department was great and went above and beyond to contact the car lot I bought the car from to get my $1500.00 new modulator paid for. It has been ordered and will be installed by VW when the part arrives from Germany at no expense to me. I am very pleased with the service I received from them and their waiting area was very clean and comfy.

Very deceptive pricing. I needed to pick up some oil & transmission fluids for a service on my vehicle. With it being a VW, naturally the items I needed were very specific and difficult to locate. I went by to pick up what I needed and was floored when the prices were quoted to me. ($90 a bottle for MTF?? something seems off…) I went to a local shop and they said they could get the same fluids (from the dealer, no less) for about half the cost. I elected to purchase what I needed from ecstuning.com for a literal fraction of the cost (genuine vw mtf is about $18 a bottle through them). The service I was given was fantastic and the employees were very knowledgeable and happy to help, but I cannot recommend purchasing any parts from them because of the insane markup on cost.

You’ll forget you ever had a car! My long lost Beetle was brought in for its scheduled appointment on November 23rd, and it is now January. Sometimes I see a white Beetle pass me on the street, and I sigh, remembering the good times. Countless voicemails have been left, was given the “direct line” to a new service manager, and we’ve not heard back from anyone with any information about when the car will be ready. I’ve been walking to and from work five days a week in the dead of winter, not having any idea when or if I’ll see my car again. Do I have any idea if they even have the part? NOPE! Do I know if they’ve even started the repair? NOPE! Have I been getting my steps in? HECK YEAH. All I wanted for Christmas was an honest update on my car, and maybe some blister band aids. I got neither.

I want to give zero stars, because I got zero service. I had my Passat towed to the AutoNation Service Dept on 11/11/2021. As the tow truck left, I called the service department, and was warned that they were backed up, and wouldn't get to it right away. I waited a week, and started calling for an update. Finally, on 11/19/2021, a mechanic answered the phone and said that they hadn't diagnosed the problem yet, and wouldn't even look at the car for at least a month; maybe it would be after the 1st of the year. He said they were short-staffed (I googled it, and saw no job listings for mechanics), and remodeling their service department. I understand being backed up, but it seems like they could send someone out with a portable diagnostic tool, and at least figure out what's wrong with each vehicle. Then the could triage, fixing the vehicles with easier issues and/or parts already available, and get the parts ordered asap for those that need it. All I could see was that they were going to diagnose my car when it was its turn, THEN order parts, THEN fix it. Maybe that works normally, but with a big back-log, that could cause some cars to wait MONTHS before being repaired, just because of the shop's procedures. I called VW Post Falls, and they said they would diagnose the car this week, so we had it towed over there for a $223 tow fee.

When I purchased my service plan part of the selling point was that they would do a full inspection each time that doesn't happen, they don't rotate my spare tire and even though I include that in my please remember to do list for them, and they're always supposed to wash and vacuum it and that literally happened the first two times I used my plan and it hasn't happened since I will not be purchasing another service contract from them...

I had my car checked out before I made a long drive to move to another state. Mentioned my headlights that one might be out of sync and they said it checked out fine -but the whole trip oncoming traffic kept flashing me! Also I mentioned some thing hanging underneath the carriage of the car and that became an issue twice during the trip! I don’t think it was checked. Overall I’m a little disappointed and need to know if I can take this into an auto nation where I live now at no charge?

I had made an appointment to have the software update but when I got there they told me there was no one who could do the work so I rescheduled. My new appointment was at 10:00. I had been told it would take an hour. When I got there they told me it would be2-3 hours. So I called someone to come and pick me up. I still hadn’t heard by 1:00 so I called and they hadn’t started the work. Around 3:30 they called and said it was done. I had a friend drop me off but my car still wasn’t there. They called and said they were on their way but no one came. Finally one of your employees drove me to the other shop to pick up my car. I had other errands to run but didn’t get to do them. Needless to say I was not happy.

Would not recommend getting your car repairs done at the service center. They have had my daughters car since September 9, for a blower motor and tie rod end repair. It is now Oct 27, there has been little to no communication from them and they rarely answer phone calls from my daughter. If my daughter calls from a different phone they answer and pass her on to the service manager, who is always too busy and never seems to be able to call my daughter back. At this time they have had the car longer than my daughter. It has been a miserable experience.

Bought a car July 31st with one thing that I was told would be fixed and is covered by warranty. Had an official diagnosis so they could order parts. They told me maybe a week. First red flag I guess was that 3 weeks later I still hadn't been called even after I asked the salesman and he said parts were in. Finally got an appointment Septmeber 9th. Since it is a used car I figured something else might pop up and it did. After hearing an odd noise my dad checked it out. The bolt holding the tie rod was literally almost off my car. So the day of the appointment I brought that up. Then they had to order more parts to fix that. Then the original issue was not what they thought so the original parts they ordered were no good and then now warranty doesn't cover that. I was calling almost every day for some sort of update and then my phone calls were not being answered unless I used a friend's phone. I can understand parts taking awhile to show up and people being out sick. BUT. It is October 26th and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CAR. It took over a month without a vehicle before they finally got me a rental car. I've made my first and 2nd car payment without my car. I regret doing business with Autonation Volkswagen. I want my car now.

Charged me 3k for a warranty and refuses to let me use it for my mechanical issues and they've had my car well over a month and a week over the due date bring your car anywhere else. Edit: Didn't even have my car back for a week before It started having problems making it un-drivable called for an appointment and the closest they had was 6 weeks away. Then 4 days after the date with no response I call and ask for an update and they told me they haven't even looked at it and would look at it "soon". It is 2 weeks after my appointment and cannot get anyone on the phone to ask what's going on. Edit 2: It has now been almost 6 months since i brought my car in and they have still yet to repair it. It is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone in the service department. Most of the time I have to call sales to have them go find someone only for them to tell my they still havent done anything.

I asked if they could look at the turn signal in the passenger side mirror to see why it wasn’t working and was told it was 150$ just to diagnose the problem. Politely declined as that’s ridiculous. Then the service advisor told me they would try to have the oil change completed by 12:00. I have never had to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change. I then reiterated that I was waiting for the oil change to be completed and he didn’t even acknowledge me. I went into the waiting room to wait, overhearing several other customer voice the same frustrations as I was having. One customer stated that she had to drive down to the dealership to get an appointment because her 10 plus calls to the service department went unanswered. Another customer was told that her car was finished and would be pulled around in 10 minutes. She was still waiting for her car 30 minutes later. After 2 hours and 45 minutes I stood from my chair and started walking around the show room, only to find my car parked out front, apparently finished with the oil change. Walked back into the service bay to ask if my car was done, they grabbed my keys and checked me out without another word. 112$ for a simple oil change and they did not even wash my car, or go over any findings from the multipoint inspection. The communication was horrible, between members of their own team, and with the customers in the waiting room. I will never take my car to be serviced by this dealership again. Extremely disappointing.

In early August (on a Tuesday) my 2012 Jetta would not start. We called Autonation VW and they said they would look at it on Friday. We did not receive a call so I called VW on Sat and was told they hadn’t even written up a service ticket and would not be able to look at it until the end of the month. When I told the service person that we were told it would be looked at the day prior (Friday) the service person said they would check the battery at a minimum that day and call me back. After that interaction it was another 2.5 weeks before I actually spoke to a person about my car. My husband and I called and left messages for the service and general manager, going so far as to go to VW and leaving a written message on the service desk. Still no call. After 3.5 weeks of having my car I finally reached the GM. He apologized and said they would look at my car that day. It was only an issue with the battery and they had my car (basically held hostage bc I couldn’t pick it up and take it somewhere else bc it wouldn’t start). They did fix the car but it took another 3 day (2 days longer than they promised). There was nothing done to make it right that they would not return our calls or contact us about the car. They didn’t even run it through the car was as a courtesy before returning the car. We are extremely disappointed with our experience and will not be returning to autonation for service or for purchasing a car (we are in the market for a new SUV or Van). No one at the business tried to make this make up for this situation. We had to rent a car and are out hundreds of dollars in addition to the cost of repairs to our car. Consider another place for car repair.

First, it was a stroke of luck to get a phone call answered to inquire about any recall work. Phone calls to AutoNation Volkswagen Spokane, go unanswered and if you get through to voicemail, your call is not returned. I finally found that phone calls tend to get answered mid-afternoon on Fridays. Second, only one tech does that recall work so it was a waiting period of a month to get an appointment. Third, e-mails are sent out to verify the work to be done, but any responses or questions I had regarding the work went unanswered so that when I arrived, they were not aware of minor changes to the scope of services to be performed. Fourth, I arrived on time for my 9:30 appointment, handed over the car, clarified the work to be done, and was told that it would be 1.5 to 2 hours to complete the work, which was a simple update of the software. IT TOOK THEM SIX HOURS TO COMPLETE THE WORK. THERE WERE NO UPDATES TO ME ABOUT THE MISSED DEADLINE, NO APOLOGIES, NO REASONS GIVEN FOR THE DELAY. The company is expanding its number of service bays, but not the number of service writers - you can expect that with this lopsided ratio, the level of customer service will plummet from here.

I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I was quoted a price before I picked up my car. When I came in the price was higher and they had declined to tell me of this extra charge over the phone previously. They also were aware of the problem ahead of time and still charged me extra for a diagnostic. They refused to drop the price to what I was originally quoted. I will not be returning.

I called twice for service with no response, so tried another number, then waited over a month for my appointment. The appointment itself was fast., but the issue wasn’t resolved. I called the next day and left a message, no response. I called the following day and tried reaching a human in the Volkswagen and Audi phone tree. Finally got someone after multiple attempts. Asked them if they were going out of business. I was transferred to the service department, spoke with Ray, he said he’d check with his technician and get back to me. I’ve never heard back. I’ve tried calling here and there and have left messages, cuz I can’t reach a human, with no response and my issue is still not fixed. It’s been almost 3 months since I first started calling to get my car fixed. The issue started in less than a year that I owned my car.. I don’t know what happened to Theresa, but Volkswagen needs her back or someone with her customer service and skills. I love my car, but would never recommend Volkswagen nor Auto Nation to anyone.

They really took their time to listen carefully to what my wife wanted and it was obvious that they were actually helping instead of just "working the deal". We ended up trading in our old compact for the brand new full-size SUV we wanted, with all the trim and options we wanted, while reducing our loan term and helping us save over $200/month... i am sure that "individual results may vary", but i have to say that I can not imagine a better car-buying experience. i wish i had more hands, so i could give them more than just 2 thumbs-up!

The staff at AutoNation were friendly. They were a bit underprepared/ thus 4/5 stars. I had reserved time on-line to test drive the vehicle. I live 150 miles out of town. I called when I was 30 minutes away to be sure they knew I was coming, and there wasn't any answer so I left a message. When I arrived, no one was aware of my reservation and the car wasn't ready. I wasted a lot of time waiting on them to find the car, get it ready and complete the purchase.

The chat person was helpful and friendly. There is no excuse in the business world for not answering the phone. Even going through the computer-voiced routing should eventually get you to the person you need to talk with. When you get there the person should pick up the phone. The person should return your call from the messages you've left. Not a good experience at all.

I am a former employee here, i brought my friend in who was looking to buy a vehicle. I said hi to my old boss ray, who literally looked at me and said nothing. Completely ignored me. Old employee or not I deserve respect as a customer. My friend didn’t want to stay any longer because of the poor attitude and customer service. Highly don’t recommend Volkswagen at this location.

I'm kind of upset about my experience here. I purchased a used Audi here. Everything kind of went okay, but it's what they told me there that has me upset. I had 2 issues. When I was in the finance room filling out the paperwork, the person there told me that this car could only have its oil changed by having a special machine that drains the oil from the top. He said to me that you can not drain the oil from the bottom and that meant I couldn't take it to a quick oil change place like Jiffy Lube. He was telling me this while trying to sell me a package that included oil changes. I'm shocked now to realize he LIED to me in an attempt to trick me and purchase prepaid oil changes in a package deal he was trying to offer. I can't believe someone would go so far as to lie about something like that. That's extremely shady. The second part I had an issue with was. I didn't notice the center caps were missing on the car. I mean WHO SELLS A CAR WITHOUT CENTER CAPS? Like really?? This wasn't some used 1990 honda, this was a 2014 audi s4 that I paid 30k+ for. When I got home and realized this I called and asked if they could I could some free center caps or atleast a discount since they sold me a car without center caps. They SAID "NOPE, YOU HAVE TO PAY FULL RETAIL". What a joke. Everyone there was thanking me for my service and being nice, but when it really came down to it they didn't care they just were happy to get the sale. I mean, thats just sheisty. Sell a $30k+ car without center caps? I would never go back to this place, just totally not helpful at all. I called the salesman I worked with and he didnt even TRY to ask if i could get a discount or get free center caps. He just said "NOPE, ILL SEND YOU AN INVOICE FOR RETAIL CENTER CAPS". HAHA, Okay thanks a lot man. You got your sale so now you don't have to help me anymore right? Thanks man. As someone whos purchased many many cars in his life, I've never had someone lie to me in order to sell me prepaid oil change services. Just beware when you go and don't let them lie to you. DO NOT take your car to this place. I had my car towed here over two months ago after my leased VW spontaneously leaked gallons of gasoline all over a grocery store parking lot. A few days later I received a text message telling me my car was fine, they couldn't find anything wrong, and that I should come pick it up. We refused to drive the car until they determine why a car with zero visible damage would leak gallons of gasoline when parked. They kept my car for over two months, did not provide any updates unless I called them (was impossible to get a live person on the phone in the service department multiple times,) and told me every week when I called them that they promised they would look at my car in a few days. This went on for OVER TWO MONTHS. Additionally, I was not provided a loaner car. After involving VW corporate they finally looked at my car and immediately determined a mouse had chewed through the wiring in the car. After keeping my car for two months while I continued to make payments, I then payed $700 out of pocket as this was not covered under warranty. WORST experience as a customer in my life. Save you time and money and go to a different location. UPDATE: I called the GM as they had posted that they would like to turn my experience into a positive one. I was given an apology and told they are building a new service center and breaking ground in June 2021 in order to manage the amount of customers they have coming in. I asked how this would make my experience better, and was told that when they are done I should come back to work with them again so that I would have a more positive experience. After 15 years with VW, they want me to come back when they're ready to provide decent customer service.

Weakest Link: Service. If Audi understood the multiple customer service failures I have endured during the course of ownership they would be embarrassed. I have never worked so hard as a customer to manage expectations, communicate, leave voicemails, emails, personally stop by the dealership simply because a Service Advisor, or Service Manager or GM for that matter fail to provide downstream COMM. FACT: Audi has had my vehicle for ONE month, I still don't have results from Service, no expected day for pick-up either. 1 MONTH GONE. I think Audi Spokane should make my car payment for me, don't you? After all, it sat on their lot, didn't get needed repair, and I didn't get to drive it because of their negligence. Customer Service FAILURE. You would think in that time SOMEONE from SERVICE could have picked up the phone and given me a status update- a courtesy call, after all its Audi.... nah. Speaks volumes.

Go see Zack Worst! Hands-down the best car buying experience EVER. I called in about my trade in, which Zack gave me top dollar for. Zack found the exact truck I was looking for in my price range the towing capacity I needed and a gorgeous interior. With the process of trading in a vehicle (the inspection it has to go through) and the normal car purchasing process I was in and out within three hours. My favorite part about the whole entire process is that Zack was 100% up front and honest with everything. THANK YOU ZACK!

Overall experience was good. Had to talk to a couple different sales people before one took interest in our shopping. Zach was very helpful and took care of us well. The paperwork process seemed to be lengthy. Follow up to make a couple repairs was also handled well.

There customer service is excellent. We value the quality of service they do on our Jetta and we purchased the car new from them and also a Volkswagen Beetle for our daughter. Can’t beat the price on parts either from their parts department. Parts have been way cheaper than online and they are the OEM parts so I know I’m putting quality parts back on my car. Oil and filters are also cheaper here at the dealership. Our Jetta is the last car we will need to buy it drives and feels as new as it did the day we drove it off the lot. Thanks

I'm extremely glad for the salesperson I had. Justin Cruz made buying my 2016 Golf GTI painless. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star is how high pressure the finance manager was. He was relentless on trying to sell me GAP insurance and an extended warranty that I did not want.

Went in for 120k check up they said my emergency break was good but when I went to use it the break didn’t work. I went to a local mechanic and replaced the break shoes now everything is fine. The service department at AutoNation needs someone to do quality control to prevent this from happening

AutoNation service department quickly assessed that our Atlas did not need the recall repairs that VW alerted us on. They also installed another item for us without charge. All of this was done quickly and faster than anticipated! I also like the friendly atmosphere at the dealership!

I came in yesterday to get regular maintenance on my vehicle. I've previously had many good experiences with Audi at this location but my poor experience with the Volkswagen service department has been consistent and I believe my experience yesterday revealed why. My initial poor experience with VW Autonation in Spokane occurred when I originally purchased my vehicle. The vehicle entertainment/nav unit had failed within a few weeks of purchasing the vehicle. Obviously, it was a manufacturing issue, so not going to fault Autonation for that. The unit basically handles all of the safety gear on the car so it needed to be fixed or replaced. This would have been an excellent opportunity for the dealership to step up and show their mettle. After all, what's the value proposition for having a dealership in your area if they're not able to service your vehicle well? Instead, the back and forth was almost entirely one-sided with me regularly calling to get updates. Often, my calls went unreturned. When they were returned, the Service manager rarely had any updates and hadn't spoken with the technicians. Eventually, I asked that this be escalated to a weekly call with management at the dealership even if there were no updates. I had a rental replacement so I wasn't put out. I just wanted to be in the loop! I did go and pick up the car after it was "fixed" but it subsequently broke again on the way home. I returned the car to the service department and waited another month for results. The fact that I had to push so hard to get anyone to do anything about my problem or communicate what was being done was extremely frustrating. I easily spent dozens of hours personally following up on my car's service because they were unwilling to keep me in the loop or give me any faith that any service was being done at all. Fast forward 1.5 years later to my first scheduled service appointment. When I arrived there was no one there to greet me. When I went inside both service managers were maskless and quickly put their masks on. One left the mask under his nose. I'm not here to mask shame, please read on. I was greeted with a basic, unhappy "what can I help you with?" I told them my name and they told me it would be 2.5 hours, and asked if I'd like to wait. I live on the north side of town so going back and forth didn't make any sense. I chose to wait. Their customer lounge is awful so I instead chose to sit elsewhere. As I sat in a dark, back corner of their showroom I watched a carnival of employees taking their masks off when there were no customers around. They were swearing and acting unprofessional and would quickly put their masks back on every time a customer with a mask entered...but not when a maskless customer entered. It was all a show. That's what I believe is to be learned here. They're not interested in their customers. The folks at Autonation VW in Spokane make a show of being interested in you when they sell you a car. But, when the curtain is pulled back or when anything goes wrong then the true apathy for their customers is obvious. I was very interested in buying my next car from Audi that would have been a > 6-figure vehicle (etron GT). But now, I'm almost entirely convinced that would be a mistake. Take this all from a guy whose other car is a Tesla. I know what bad service can be like. I'd be far more inclined to buy another car from them than an Audi or VW product simply because of Autonation VW's service department performance in Spokane.

I was told they would pay off my trade before my payment was due. It wasn't due for 10 days after trading it in. It has been 15 days and I'm paying interest on my new rig and the one I traded in. Plus now I have a late fee on a rig I don't have possession of. Little disappointed! I even contacted them they said it would be paid. Still nothing. The one star is for how nice they seamed to be. But action speaks louder than words.

I found a vehicle through CarMax listed at this dealership. From the first moment I reached out to them, the communication was excellent. My sales rep, Hector, took all the photos I requested. My test drive was easy to schedule and the purchase was seamless. I bought it so quickly, the detailing had not been completed. They arranged a detailing appointment and finished in one day. I would do business with them again.

I drove up from Sacramento to buy a used car from Autonation Audi / VW of Spokane WA I could not have been happier with the sales / finance and service depts. in face everyone at the dealership was friendly, welcoming and extremely easy to deal with. Sure they had the rare car I wanted at a great price, yea that’s their job to get you the car you want at a great price and they do that very well! They also make the car buying experience, something that can be very stressful ... Easy and straightforward, no hassle the way it should be! The Guys at AutoNation are 2nd to none. I went to almost every dealership in Spokane/Valley looking for the right place to buy my first new car. John was by far the best salesman he not only addressed my concerns but talked through them with me. 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Purchased on: 10/28/2020. got a good price on this car. zack my salesman was very professional and attentive to my needs. mike the sales manager helped me out by working above and beyond trying to get an extended warranty that would work for me. but, ultimately I decided to not have one on my car and am currently waiting on my refund back on that. overall a good buying experience and would recommend this dealership to others looking for a new car. New update on from december 2020. I had a detailing service done on my jeep, mostly a good job but not great. as some areas were missed entirely and what ever they sprayed all over my interior of my jeep left all the surfaces so slick that everything slides of of the seats, floor mats are very slippery that cause foot slippage while trying to brake. not sure what they used on the surfaces\, but I don't think i'll have it done again. also still awaiting my extended service contract cancelation refund. Hope it shows up soon!!

3rd car purchased here and every time I?ve had to get offers from dealers around the PNW to get a decent price. Other dealers give lowest price first call. This dealer insist on playing old school negotiating games. They will eventually meet prices if you don?t want to travel to buy a car.

I purchased a 2020 Tiguan from AutoNation and had a wonderful experience. The sales team and the finance department were knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely just a fun group to be around! The finance manager I did paperwork with, Ronnie, was really helpful and answered all of my questions in a way that I could understand. Zach has followed up with me several times. Had a great experience. Just needed an oil change, was told it would take 1.5 hours. It was done after about an hour! Before it was done I got a full rundown of the inspection and cost of future repairs. Will definitely be coming back for those repairs soon.

Needed manual trans fluid that is off the shelf for an MK4. Service rep had no idea even when I had the spec for it. Had to go to Post Falls VW to get what I needed. Would not recommend Autonation VW Spokane to anybody.

Careful taking your vehicle for repairs to this place. I was quoted $599 for a front light bulb just part. I called the dealership out west where I bought the vehicle and they said under 300 installed and were wondering why it is soo expensive. Definetly shop around. I am taking my vehicle back to where I bought it for servicing. I will have them look it over too. And install a single light bulb for under 300 including 15 min labor charge.

Take internet information with a grain of salt, read about a issue I had and it was only a partial fix, my issue fell within the parameters posted on the info highway, but, also had a part required which was replaced. I got a little strong headed thinking the dealership was trying to pull the wool over my eyes and I now realize I was 50/50 right/wrong

Quick service. Nice lobby. On my service day(11/3) a customer over reacted to a very entertaining level. The staff member stayed professional in dealing with him and would have gotten the customer a rental car had he not lost his cool and threatened to start breaking and or throwing stuff around in the office.

Took five hours to do one recall and a few basic maintenance fixes. Then it took another half hour to print the paperwork where they charged me for an oil change I never requested. They did refund me for the oil change but it was another issue. The people working there are nice but the time it took and the mistakes made warrant a two star review.

From the very first phone call to the service desk, we were 100% taken care of. We had been traveling and the check engine light lit up. We needed help (there isn’t not a VW dealership in or near our home town). They checked it, booked our appt a couple weeks out. Received a flyer for a recall, scheduled an appointment over the summer, they claimed this was to fix it, that was not accurate. They ?verified? the problem, rescheduled to November as they didn?t have the part. Brought the car in on Sunday to drop it off, they had all day Monday and were unable to fix the problem because it did not meet threshold with VW. Note they are claiming that we have to have the check engine light on and the flyer, the flyer that they kept during the first appointment.

"I took my car in (for a scheduled diagnostics appointment) on October 21st. When I handed over my keys, I asked the woman at the service desk how long this process should take. She answered with “the rest of the day today and part of tomorrow.” We called on the 24th, 26th, 28th, & the 29th and always got the same answer of “We’re short staffed. We will see to it that we have an update for you tomorrow.” It felt like tomorrow would never come.. Frustrated, we called yet again today, October 30th. Only to get the appointment scheduler on the line to tell us the service department coordinator would email us the list of things that needed fixed. I asked to speak to the service department coordinator and she said that she was currently with a customer but she would email us. I said I didn’t mind holding. The service department coordinator, Theresa, then got on the line and was extremely rude and pushy. She made me feel as though what I had to say wasn’t the least bit important. She interrupted me multiple times and scoffed at almost any comment I made. She made me feel like she thought she was better and higher up than I. It has just been a very unpleasant experience and I don’t think anyone deserves the treatment we received throughout this process." Now I want to add a few parts of my own. I understand being short staffed and dealing with the snow. However I also understand classism. It didn't take very long to take a look at the difference between the Audi set up and the Volkswagen set up to figure out what was going on. The Audi set up looked like a class A casino while the Volkswagen set up looked like Sprague avenue cement. Well answer me this kids, who gets the personalized stewardess treatment on an airplane? That's right, the first class. So I can almost guarantee that all of the times that we were promised that we were going to be in the next day and be looked at while it took nearly 10 days for them to even get it in, was because Audi customers were being funnelled in first. It is going to take some pretty detailed service logs to make this thought process disappear.

I have recently purchased a 2014 VW Passat from a local used car dealer. The radio is stuck in the reboot function and the A/C does not blow cool air. I had taken my vehicle to a service station (Tire-Rama) who recharged my A/C. I had scheduled to have my vehicle looked at by VW dealer on 20 Oct to determine why the A/C was still blowing warm and to fix the radio. Based on my research, the radio just needed the software/firmware reloaded. Every so many days, the reboot function would work and the radio would operate, until the car was turned off and then it would go back to the reboot function. I am military and was tasked to deploy to Saudia Arabia on 20 Oct, so I went to the dealership to ask if there was an earlier date I could get my vehicle in for diagnostic. The original customer service rep told me to come back on 15 Oct at 130pm. When I arrived at my scheduled time, two different reps said I wasn't on the schedule. I explained to them the situation and they said they would squeeze me in, they only had one technician and a ton of work for him. Evidently he only came in so many times per week to their location. They told me it would be a couple hours. I stated it was fine and I ubered to a nearby location about 10 min away. After getting to my location ( a total of about 30 min had passed) I was called by the customer rep and stated my car was ready however there was bad news. They stated the radio wouldn't come on and that they couldn't diagnose my A/C because it was too cool out. The A/C, even with the Max A/C function engaged, blows luke warm air. In my experience, even in the winter, a fully functional a/c unit will blow cool or cold air. The radio, turned on when I got in the vehicle, however it was still stuck in the reboot function. They also quoted me at $5K+ for the new radio and I was able to find the same unit at a VW website for $2100.

We purchased our brand new 2020 Passat 2 1/2 months ago. We were told it came with all these amazing features that really fit our families needs and all we had to do was press a button once we got home and be walked through setting all the features up. Got home late so we woke up all excited to get our features working only for the button to do absolutely nothing. Called to remedy it and found out our car didn’t come with the module. When we asked when we could get the module so our car had all the features we were told it had, they said in the fall. They offered to do something for the inconvenience, which we had to reach out several times about, and we have yet to see or hear a thing about the accessory, module or other remedy we had been promised. We worked our butts off so we could buy a car we loved, it’s frustrating that we did NOT get what we thought we were paying for.

Purchased a brand new 2020 Gulf for my wife today and I can honestly say this was the best "car purchasing experience ever." That says a lot, since I've purchase more new cars over the years than I'd care to admit. The deal was fantastic and more than fair!!! I walked away feeling like they really cared and they do. Thank you Zachary Worst, John Ward, Austin Gerimonte, Michael Libby and Tim in service. I actually stopped by the service dept to replace the jetta's key fob battery and Tim took the time and interest to ask how my day was going which lead into a conversation of our common artistic interest....Tim is the reason I returned to purchase a car the very next day.

I wouldn't buy a cup of coffee from AutoNation anything. Had my vehicle in for repairs, paid a bunch of money for the honor of owning an Audi, and got it back worse than it went in. Took it back in and got a quote for double what I paid the first time. After having to physically go in and talk with them, showing service records, and having them repair their original work, it turns out that the quote wasn't quite as needed as originally stated. It took almost a month to get our vehicle back. I will say, they have a couple service managers that are working over time to try and help folks, but they aren't getting much help from the looks of things. Call it what you want to... I wouldn't buy or repair anything else here. Nor will I be buying another Audi.

Had a great experience at AutoNation Audi. I am very pleased with my car and felt like it came at a fair price. They are very open about any/all previous issues with the vehicle. Because all their cars go through a thorough inspection, you know you're getting a quality vehicle. I worked with Chris D.; he was extremely helpful and fun to work with. :) He made the process very smooth and relaxed. Just be aware that if you are looking for a car from their dealership online and the listing only has stock photos, there's a good chance you'll have to wait a week or two before you can go in and test drive it. Buying a car isn't quick and easy, but AutoNation made it worth the wait!

Very difficult to rate this service experience. You had my car for almost 4 weeks, during which most of the time I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I have seen that communication between the dealership and customers is very poor. It is difficult to believe that it took this long for Volkswagen engineering and the dealer this long to diagnose and repair vehicle. I was told vehicle had to be driven numerous times for diagnosis yet when returned there was no mileage driven stated driven on the receipt? Since you had my vehicle so long, and I had no idea who had used it I had requested vehicle be cleaned and sanitized inside before returning. It was not. I had also reported electrical issues with the car AGAIN which were not addressed.

I had my VW towed in to be diagnosed, i was told that they may not be able to work on it if there was a computer issue. They said they would know in a few days and contact me to let me know. After A week I had to found them for information about the status of my vehicle, i understand getting busy but they can communicate and update those changes. They informed me that the issue was a bad fuel pump and quoted me $1400 to fix said issue. 5 hours of labor + parts. I had this job looked up on a national date base for repair times and parts. It was a simple thing as dropping the tank, swapping the part and done, data base said 1.4 hours tops. Im lead to believe that either their mechanics are incompetent ( which i doubt) or they are scamming me for 3.6 hours of non existent work time. I chose to not pay 1/3 of the vehicles total worth to repair a simple part and had it towed to my normal mechanic. Before I could have it picked up they said i owed fees, which were not mentioned at all until now. The shop i normally go to had it out and good to go in less than 24 hours later for half the cost this place quoted me. Autonations work recipe was in the vehicle when i picked it up today, looking it over i seen that they performed many extra checks on the vehicle that i did not ask for nor was it needed. ( brakes, rotors, pads, tires, brake lines, ect) and added a quote in the bill to change them all out for new stuff. All of these items were in good working order and not in need or repair or replacement. In summary, the total experience is very dissatisfied. They failed to communicate charges of services, extra services not requested, additional charges not disclosed in advance and labeled as Misc shop charge. Shady practices all around, do no take your vehicle here unless you have on other choice. If your vehicle isn't under warranty, expect to pay 2-3 times compared to anywhere else. (Edit) They want me to call back and try and navigate their horrible customer service to reach their GM to talk about their horrible customer server and shady practices. They can consider this their call.

I find that the service department is usually really slow and the room that you have to wait in is pretty basic. Be sure you have a charging cable for you phone cause that's all you have to do. They also don't have loner cars that you can use for the day like they do at other VW places.

I can't say i had a positive experience here, the lady in charge of service was really nice, but no one had enough decency to bring my car to the front of the lot after they finished, after having to search for my car for a few minuets i had to go back inside the office and ask someone who pointed out, it's in the back, not even bothering to bring it up front, it's alright, i just had to go across the packed lot to find my car, not the kind of customer service i'm used to.

Happy with my service here. I’ve had both a window fixed and a key fob installed through this Autonation and both have worked perfectly (of course). I just had the key fob done, and after calling 10+ auto locksmiths that weren’t able to help with my call, I came to Autonation. I was worried it would cost more than I’d be charged elsewhere, but it came out to just about what I had originally hoped, expected, and budgeted for. Great price👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Ray was great!! I came in to get my brakes fixed and one of my tires and he called me within the hour saying my brakes were in great shape and didn’t need to be replaced and he fixed my tire for free and washed my car!!! It’s great place to bring your vehicle. They will treat you fairly and well!

Dropped car off for inspection and diagnosis of a check engine light. It took a week to get a response and I had to go into building and ask “what is going on with my car”. Only then one service person who knew nothing about the car tried to quickly pull up the service. It took that person 15 minutes to do that. They promised they would call the next day to explain what is going on.... no phone call had to call them a few days later. Where they finally gave an answer. Car has been in shop now almost two weeks. Part on back order, claimed the AC is fixed only to have it blow hot air when driving. They charged me for a 975.00 car wash basically. Very disappointed, service lacks a key component to customer satisfaction.....Communication! Unless they can rectify this, my review stands.

No BS dealer and one of the best around WA. No beating around the bush and very strait forward. I was very skeptic at first but heard good thing about them thru VW Vortex car enthusiast and was willing to drive drive almost 300 miles to check it out. What the heck I love my trade in car so if they were not honest and adding any hidden cost, l just drive back and never go back there again ever. Of course I have to be honest with them about my car too. When I got there, my car and their car checked out. Everything checked out and the transition was smooth as silk. I got back home faster than driving over there. Yup one happy customer here. I will sure look for them on my future VW buying. Big thank you to the sale rep, John Ward and his manager Spencer Mittan. p.s. Love it when Spencer beat me by $1.00 on my offer! You guys are great!

After 2 weeks of having the jeep, the battery died. It was perfectly clear that it was covered under the limited warranty provided by the dealership, but they refused to cover it. So i am out another $100 because the service center did not honor an agreement we had in writing! After spending so much money and having terrible customer service, I will never buy a car here again. Update 2: Make that 19 days in and now i find that the bumper was cracked when I bought it. This is at least $600-$700 to fix at a body shop. Not disclosed, not fixed. I am SO disappointed.

We purchased a brand new Audi three years ago from Audi Spokane. Included with the purchase was an Audi extended warranty and gap insurance. We decided to trade our Audi in for a Volkswagen as we wanted to have access to a service department in our town rather than driving 4 hours to get it serviced. It has been two months and numerous unanswered emails and unreturned calls trying to get a refund for the extended warranty and gap insurance. I emailed all the necessary documentation as well. In light of COVID I have been patient. However, two months of no response is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Service department prices are absurd. I brought my 2017 Golf Alltrack SEL (21,00Omiles) in for a radiator leak. They quoted over $1,400 for replacing the radiator. Another local high quality specialty shop that I use for my Porsche and classic VW bus and Syncro Van quoted less than half that price. A genuine VW radiator for the car can be bought online for $158 if you shop around. In the end, my wife and I removed the radiator, were able to have it repaired locally for far less than a new one and then we reinstalled it. Labor took about 4 hours (we are not mechanics) and needed no special tools or skill. I'll bet a trained tech could do it by him/herself in two hours. By the way, we bought the car new from this dealer and plan to buy a new ID Buzz when they hit the market. But we will not buy any more from this dealer. There is no reason to charge these rates.

This is saying a lot because we finalized the deal just as Covid19 hit and things were extra complicated. I found the car I wanted on line and then realized I could purchase locally. However I chose not to do that due to the superb customer service at this dealership. Chris, my salesman, was so patient, helpful and knowledgable. Went in to have the diagnostics ran on my heater as it is not working. They told me it was the heater core and replaced it. Sent me home with the car and the heater still doesn't work. Not to mention when you take your car here to be serviced there is absolutely no place to sit or stand.

I don't usual post reviews as I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and especially right now during our current pandemic. However, I have been working with the AutoNation Volkwagen Spokane dealership for roughly 4 years now and time and time again I run into issues. For a basic oil change, Great! However, any time I have had to work with the parts department or autobody department they never call me back, take excessive amount of time to give me a quote, mis-quote me, etc etc etc. This current situation has involved me dropping off my car at 8:30am, not getting a call back but calling them at 1:30 to check on it, them saying they will call me back to find out they don't. Calling them again at 5:30 to no one answering and then having to call them back AGAIN at 9:30am the next morning to find out they still don't have a price quote for me. I will be taking my service to the Post Falls, VW from now on.

I made them pull around a million cars for me to look at and they didn't mind at all. I came into the VW dealer at 9:30 for a 40,000 mile servicing on my Golf. This servicing consisted of an oil change and replacement of various filters. I did not get out of there until 1:30 in the afternoon. I'm thinking that four hours for this servicing is entirely too long and I am very dissatisfied because of that. The service rep said that they had over-booked for the day which is also unsatisfactory. I have had excellent service in the past. If I have to again spend four hours for an oil change at this place I will probably go somewhere else in the future.

I needed to have my car out quickly by a certain time and he Said he would see that the car was finished by then . I went and had my Volkswagen serviced here after a few shops in spokane failed to keep in contact with me in a timely manor. They were professional, friendly, and honest. They gave me an extensive list on my car so I understood not only what I was servicing but everything else that could possibily need addressed. The issue I had was fixed within a week, they kept me informed and respected my time. I would definetly recommend coming here especially if you have a european car!

I went in with 10k in negative equity, and a car that no longer fit my needs. There was A LOT of factors getting me into a new car. After 3 months of dealership searching, and trying to make the best decision for my little and I, the remarkable staff at VW in the Valley went above and beyond to get us into a vehicle that fit our needs and got us out of a sticky situation. I purchased a used vehicle from AutoNation Volkswagen that I found advertised on CarFax.com. I told them I'd like to come by for a test drive and they had the vehicle upfront and warming up when I arrived. The salesman was very pleasant and was not pushy. I traded my vehicle in with them and I felt their offer was a bit low considering the condition of my vehicle. I asked them for an adjustment and they refused to negotiate (said they could get fired). This wouldn't normally be a problem for me, but I was not happy that they only gave me 1 key fob for the vehicle I was buying, when I gave them 2 key fobs for mine. When I traded my vehicle in they gave me $3,951; less than a week later they sold my vehicle for $7,952. The very least they could've done was given me a spare key fob for the vehicle they sold me! The finance guy was an entire different experience. Be prepared to refuse all the extra warranty protection he tries to sell you. He started off with the "Preferred" Protection Plan at $3,371, but that price kept dropping each time I told him no, I'm not interested. By the time he gave me the last offer it was less than $1,000. I told my salesman that I didn't want to screw around when I came in to sign papers; I specifically asked that they have everything ready for me to sign when I arrived for my appointment. I already had my financing in place and I just wanted to come in, sign papers, turn over my vehicle, pick up my new vehicle and be on my way. Well that didn't happen. I spent almost 2 hours waiting on who knows what before the finance guy could be bothered with seeing me (remember, I did have an appointment). He seemed particularly bothered when I specifically told him I wanted my middle initial on all the documents. Needless to say he wasn't going to make that happen. His reasoning was that there was a risk that they could get it wrong, or make a mistake. I've never heard of such BS. This guy came off as very arrogant and not customer oriented. Definitely not a people person. So after an hour with him and 2 hours waiting for him, I wasted almost 3 hours of my day after SPECIFICALLY requesting everything be ready when I arrive for my appointment. Bottom line, I'm happy with my new vehicle but I was not happy with the buying experience. They obviously have a high incentive to sell additional warranties and frighten people into buying them. I would not recommend AutoNation.

I had to call from a parking lot with two German Shepherds in my car and no way to get the car in reverse or drive. The service department walked me through my situation and even put one of the service estimators on the phone with me to get me home. They then ordered my part the day I called and authorized them to and had me back in my car in 3 days.

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a car dealership -- much less a VW dealership. My first car was a white VW Rabbit. My Dad drove a green VW buggy. Our family has always purchased VWs. I am relocating and needed to sell my current VW - a 2010 Jetta. It's the car my sons learned to drive with and had been on many a road trip. I stopped in this dealership to get a headlight fixed and saw their promotion of purchasing you VW. I thought 'perfect, I can sell/give my car back to VW.' 3.5 hours later. After mis-information and two trips to the DMV, I got a check for $1000 (yeah), much less than the $2200 they had originally quoted me. But after 3.5 hours, I just wanted to be done. The weirdest part of this (and the main reason I'm writing this review) is that for most of this waiting time I was sitting at a manager's desk that had a sign behind it about 'establishing lifelong customer relations.' And as I sat in the middle of the show room floor, right next to the manager's office, not a single person stopped to say hello, ask if I wanted some water, etc. The whole experience made me sad. This particular interaction was a small one, and my next car will probably be a Volkswagen. :-) But I probably won't go to a dealership to buy. Hope this review is helpful.

I wouldn't leave a star at all, but unfortunately Google does not give me that option. I'm writing this review so that other consumers are aware of how this company does business. I'm not talking about Autonation as a whole because I've had a good experience at Audi Westmont in Chicago. I'm strictly talking about this dealer Audi of Spokane. I'd like to say that Rick (my service adviser) is a good employee who went above and beyond. He honestly is the reason I kept coming back until the dealer simply didn't give me a choice. On 05/19/19 I brought my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige TDI to be serviced under warranty for a bad dome light and the MMI screen not closing all the way when the vehicle is turned off. Invoice #764130. When I went to pick up my car I found my dash cam unplugged and my interior vent assembly damaged. I did not leave the dealership I showed Rick my service manager and he apologized for the inconvenience and assured me he would get the part on order to repair the damage that there tech caused. On 06/19/19 I brought my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige TDI to be service under warranty again for the MMI screen clicking and to replace the damaged vent assembly that there tech damaged on 05/19/19. They said they had a master tech work on my vehicle this time and apologized again. The tech fixed the clicking noise in the MMI screen and installed the new vent assembly and trim. Invoice # 765260. When I went to pick up the car I found the trim around my new vent assembly does not match. Rick agreed the vent trim did not match and said they would look into why. Fast forward to 08/21/19 the dealer could not find a vent assembly with the same trim for my vehicle. My trim is discontinued even though my car is not even 4 years old. I told Artie the GM of this dealer and Ray Jones the Service Manager that I am NOT satisfied with the repair on my $78,000 MSRP Audi A6. I gave the dealer 2 options that would satisfy me the customer #1 remove the trim off my old vent assembly that the dealers service tech damaged and install it on the new vent assembly that is not damaged. #2 Replace all the trim in the vehicle to match the new trim the dealer service tech has installed. Artie the GM has advised me that in his eyes the repair is done and that I can pay them per hour to reinstall the trim. At this point I'm furious It's been months and I understand a lot of that time was the dealer researching why they couldn't find the correct part but this is a unacceptable outcome to a very terrible experience to begin with. I will not let this dealer treat me this way and I've weighing out my options at this point. Audi of America has stated they do not agree with the dealers decision in this case but cannot force the dealer to do anything as they are ones who damaged the trim. Previous issues... I'm ashamed to say I've bought a new 2014 VW Jetta TDI at this dealer that when purchased was promised a body kit installed later that week before I went back to my home in North Dakota which ended up taking months after the purchase. I've had my 2012 Audi A6 Prestige 3.0 serviced here and I was told I needed $4500 in repairs when in reality I only needed a coolant valve and a new electrical plug. That was 25,000 miles ago... On that same service I was also charged an extra diagnostic fee so the tech could verify what coolant valve was leaking (the 3.0 engine only has 1 coolant valve on a 2012 A6). Strike #1 damaging my car and not being honest about it (I had to point out the damage) Strike #2 Making promises to repair and then backing out of promises (service manager Ray already agreed to try and swap my old trim on the new vent assembly) Strike #3 Artie telling me that my car isn't special, that it's worth 6k and he'll buy it from me if I'm not satisfied with repairs. He gave me his personal number then told me to stop calling it. (said it would be harassment). He will literally insult you and then ask why you are raising your voice. My car literally is 1 of 1 for 2016 (Audi Exclusive Package). Love Audi, hate this service.

I was very positively impressed with how the things are done at AutoNation. I was receiving very promptly adequate responses to my questions. After that, I decided to visit AutoNation to choose between 2 cars. And John arranged for this visit extremely satisfactory for me and my wife. In June 2018 I had only the back driver's side brake done. I was told at that time the other brakes were fine. I needed new rotors, pads, and calipers and that came to over $700. In March 2019, I took the car up for an oil change and general inspection. I was told by your mechanics at that time all the the brakes were good for at least another year. They were not. Recently the brakes had been making grinding noises. After an inspection from a different place, I was told all the brakes needed to be replaced, including the brakes your mechanics just changed out. They were so bad it was metal on metal. I replaced all the brake pads, rotors and calipers, including the ones your mechanic did less than 10 months ago. The mechanic I took the car too said the brakes were so bad, he couldn't even tell that any work had been done at all. I showed him your invoice to prove I had just put new brakes on the back. To top it all off, the other place charged only about $325 for the same work you did. Never again will I ever have anything to do with Autonation. When people ask me what I think I give them the horrible details of what it's like dealing with you. If I could put a grade on here, it would easily be a failing grade.

For a 1st time buyer I was very a little nervous! Doug Fredicks got me into a used car that day. And might I also add that this used car is like brand new, low miles and perfect for me so far. I had no intentions of buying that day I was just looking. But when evrything felt right I ended up driving home with my new car. My favorite part of all of this is I did not feel pressured in any way and that was important to me. I also found a few things when I left and brought the car in and they were willing to fix it all . Took my '03 Jetta in for some weird performance issue. They tested the car, checked everything out and found no issues and got me back on the road. The dealership was very obliging and helpful in identifying my options and evaluating lease/purchase options. I settled on lease and was helped through the paperwork. It is a new car with lots of safety features that all seem to work. I have not had to take it back for any repairs or discrepancies so I cannot comment on the repair work. However, I was introduced there and have a first maintenance check scheduled for Spring. They were very thorough in briefing me on controls, options and settings before I drove it out.

I recently purchased a pre owned VW and that sales process was straight forward. I think it took less than 2 hours all together which was great. I did research on the pricing and was able to get the car for about $1500 under NADA and Blue Book pricing which was great. The dealer would not negotiate any further. I have never purchased a used car before but I was very impressed with pricing and the car was super clean. It was a 2016 Passat and aside from a few small scratches the interior looked like no one have ever been in the car. Would recommend Autonation and their certified pre owned inventory if you are looking for a car in that market. I also had them schedule PDR and wheel repair. They guy that does this work did a great job and the wheel looks brand new and the small dent on the door is completely gone. Was able to get into the service department quickly to have that work done and I am really impressed.

I bought my Volks Bettle in 2012 and up until yesterday everything was good. Yesterday was different. I went in to get the car lube and oil change and they told me that the car needed new brake fluid. I already had been there an hour and it would be 45 minutes more so I said ok. Then about an hour later they came and said that they couldn't do it because no machine available or the mechanic couldn't, then she told me the fluid wasn't really that dirty I could probably go with out. They should of told me right away the problem. So were they just out to get more money or what? They did me the lube and oil free.

The service advisor was outstanding and did all she could to try to deal with fixing the NAV system. VW's process is inefficient though. Not her fault. The oil change was great with the wash. The issue was the oil was not completely filled and on our road trip the next day I had to find a dealer to get the appropriate oil to add .5 liter to get out of the B zone in the manual. Not sure if the car ate oil or the tech did not check after filling and waiting the extra minute. Otherwise I would have rated a 5.

Euro vans are hard to work on and have difficult electronics. Two other VW repair shops were unable to fix the steering angle sensor re-program glitch. Auto Nation stayed overtime and worked until the problem was solved. They certainly went the extra mile.

This has been absolutely the most horrible car buying experience I have ever had. We called back the next day as the car was too small for our family to try and cancel but they said you signed the contract and there was nothing they could do. I specifically told them I wanted to make sure I could afford the down payment so I wrote a check and wanted to see if the car would fit our growing children since they were not with us at the time. We called back the very next morning stating these two key aspects and they said there was nothing they could do. We were told this has never happened before...someone trying to return a car that they truly couldn't afford and that was too small? So I said in the history of car sell/buying...no one has tried to return a car the very next day? I was told this has never happened to me ( the salesman/manager). This is not the experience you should have when trying to purchase a car. Especially when you made it known to the dealership what factors determine if you want the car and if will work for you. Tell your friends to go and test drive only...but buy elsewhere.

Scheduled a service here because our local guy was out of town. Scheduled a 10:00 am appointment and was told it would take 1:45. Drove in from out of town so it was our only vehicle there in the shop. When we had not heard back from anyone by 1:00 we returned via shuttle to find out the status, they had not even started with the only explanation that the shop had gotten backed up. The shuttle driver was friendly, but we are going to stick with our local guy.

It was not a good time for the salesman to take time off so I dealt with the Sales Manager and a umber of people trying to get an answer on when the X5 would be back for me to have it checked out by my mechanic. Only issue was being able to talk to someone since everyone was busy all the time.

After learning about the release of the Volkswagen TDI cars, I called dealerships all over Montana, Idaho and Washington. All were relatively pleasant to deal with. When I called AutoNation I knew I would be buying a car from them. I got all the information I needed and ended buying my car over the phone sight unseen. They even worked with me on the price of my car, which no other dealership would do, especially the one I deal with locally. I felt very comfortable with every aspect of the process. They even gave me a ride from the support to the dealership as I was coming from Montana to buy my car. I felt like I was among family the minute I arrived. I met everyone and got the our of the dealership. I test drove my car, which I might add had a full tank of fuel something most dealerships do not do anymore, I knew I made the right choice. I signed the papers and got on the road for my 6 hour drive home. They even called to check on me on the drive home. what a caring group of individuals. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a car.

Run, don't walk away from this dealer The sales person, Kam, very friendly and was a good experience until came time to pay for the car I had decided to buy. I put about a 1/3rd down and I told them wanted to pay the balance within 5-10 days as needed to move some money around to pay for it. They would not hold a check for a few days until I called them with OK to deposit. Said I had to go ahead and fill out all the finance papers. anyway. Told them I had sold some stock and needed it to settle so could move the money into my checking account and that takes 4-5 days, had sold the stock on Monday Went back 3 days later to pay it off and was told I could not as they had sent the paperwork to the bank, but THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHICH BANK IT WENT TO, so I could go there and pay it off a 70 mile one way trip wasted. Still waiting for them to tell me which bank and where to pay it off. Bought it Tuesday night tried to pay off Friday morning, Was told they would contact me as soon as they knew where it went. That was Fri morning , is now Tuesday afternoon still no word. They kept touting the fact it was a "certified used car" and had to pass a rigorous inspection process one of the reasons I bought the car and passed on another identical car with 10,000 fewer miles at the same price. The last paper the finance person gave me was an "as is" no warranty, then he said had a 60 day warranty. A Certified preowned VW Warranty carries a 2 year-24,000 mile warranty. So I was misled, PROBABLY MY BAD FOR NOT ASKING ENOUGH QUESTIONS. Their certified is NOT VW CERTIFIED, so beware of this little item My next car will be from Dave Smith who will hold a check for a few days, and are just as friendly and easy to deal with as Auto Nation, They did hold a check for 3 days until I called them ok to deposit, they are willing to go a little farther than Auto Nation is to make a customer happy. Auto Nation's excuse is they are to big, so guess they are so big they don't need my business anymore. Every negative review the GM says to call him on this forum and gives his number. Number is for the computer directory , not personal at all. have left voicemail, get no return call, so evidently not very interested in taking care of problems, like hoping nobody will call him, same for finance dept. Here it is a week later ad I still don't know where I can payoff the car. Timeline Nov 15, Fri Tue night Purchased car put $6500 down on a 14,997 VW Passat Nov 18 Fri Morning tried to pay it off was told I could not as paperwork already sent to the bank. They immediately send all paperwork out as they are so big. Was told they would send me an email with bank info I could go to and pay it off . As they didn't know where it went, Hard to believe that. No way they don't know where it went Nov 21, Monday night still have not ben notified. Nov 22 Tue morning, tried to call the GM who has posted his number posted on Facebook review page. Get a computer asking how to direct my call. Finally get connected to the voice mail for the GM that says he is out of the office Nov 17 through Nov 20 and he will be back Monday Nov 21, so leave my number and waiting for a call back. It Looks like he post his number on Facebook to try and make it look like he cares and hopes nobody try's to call him Nov 22 Tue Afternoon try to call finance dept told only one person there and he was busy, left voice mail message again. Nov 23, still no return call from GM or Finance , so giving up and posting this review. 5 star rating went down to a 1 star, (no star) in one week for lack of customer service, honesty , and lack of communication, so again run , don't walk away.. Dec 13 Follow up: received a call about 10 minutes after posting above. Don't know if was a result of posting, or giving the receptionist a hard time about phone calls not returned and no body to talk to. Today Dec 13 was the first day was able to pay off the car at the credit union. Autonation was in such a hurry to dump the paper, Credit Union had to return it to them the first time because paperwork was not complete. Credit Union funded the Loan on Dec 13. I paid it off Dec 13. and ended up paying an extra $32 for the privilege. Made 3 trips to Spokane and paid off on 3rd trip. after several phone calls to see if they had received the paperwork and funded the loan. The Diesel buyback however was smooth and easy to do and had the funds in my account on Tuesday Morning after doing the paperwork on Saturday Dec 10. Purchase was not dependent upon completion of the buy back as had the funds to independently pay off the Passat Purchase to replace the Diesel Jetta TDI.

I'm the owner of a TDI Jetta that will be purchased back by Volkswagen. I've been looking for an EOS to replace my Jetta for quite some time, (they're hard to find). I found one at AutoNation VW in Spokane. I live on the west side of the state so I called and talked to Isaac about the 2015 EOS they had for sale. We were able to work a deal over the phone and I drove 300 miles to finalize the purchase. Everyone at AutoNation was great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone. It was well worth the drive.

I took my Q5 in for an oil change. As far as I can tell the technical aspects were fine. I suppose they changed the oil. At least the beep telling me I needed service went away. The problem was the guy at the service desk. Not exactly Mr. Personality. Seemed angry and not at all providing a great customer service experience. It took nearly as long for him to process my transaction in the computer as it did to do the oil change. Get better software for starters and maybe invest in some customer service training. The last time I was there, a different service person said to me at the time I was paying my bill "If you can't rate me as a 10 out of 10 for my service please tell me now so I can fix it". !! In February I brought in my 2013 Jetta GLI Audubon for routine service - it's the second Jetta I've bought from this dealership. The appointment was supposed to take an hour, an estimate by one of the service technicians. Before my appointment, I made an effort to reach out to AutoNation and Volkswagen Service to ask them how long it may take, and that if it's going to take longer than an hour then I will need to arrange transportation to get on with my day. I never received a reply back from AutoNation about the accommodations, but went to the appointment anyway. They offer a complimentary car wash when you bring your vehicle, which is great and I take advantage of, but after taking my car for longer than the scheduled appointment time, they left my car in the back parking lot - unwashed. I had to walk around the sales building with one of the service specialists to even find my car. It really needed to be washed, because after having the fuel and cabin filter replaced during the service they performed, it reeked like gasoline inside the cabin. An email was sent to me asking to fill out a survey regarding my experience, and I did. Frank McCauley from Customer Service contacted me and wanted to resolve the issue. He was very nice and very professional. He offered to schedule me an appointment to have my car fully detailed (Wash/Wax/Shampoo) - I still have the emails for evidence, because let's face it, you need it when dealing with these guys - at my convenience, complimentary. I asked if I could wait until the weather was nicer because it made no sense to have it done in February with the weather still bad, and that was not a problem. However, when I tried contacting AutoNation to take them up on their offer, Frank McCauley specifically, I received no reply. Email isn't 100% reliable so I call the dealership and speak to a Mr. Roach, who I suspect is the service manager. I am told by him that Frank hasn't worked there in a while and this issue must have been from a couple years ago. He asked that I forward on the emails anyway and he would review them. That was about 2 weeks ago. I called AutoNation again to speak directly with Mr. Roach again and the receptionist told me that he was on the other line, but that she would take a message and have him call me back as soon as possible. A week has gone by and I've yet to hear back. The sales department at AutoNation is phenomenal. They know what their customers want and how to get them into the right vehicle for the right price. However, the service department at AutoNation makes it entirely undesirable to bring the car you just bought back to the people that should be familiar with it most. This is the second significant issue I have had with service at this dealership - the first being with my previous Jetta. Same issues. Last time I had to meet with the General Manager to get anywhere and that in itself took much longer than it should have. I'll know better for next time.

Bought my pre-owned certified 2011 Jetta TDI there and will never go back! Months after buying it the check engine light went on. Took it in to get it fixed and they tried charging me hundreds to fix it when it is still under warranty. They couldn't seem to find my warranty until I brought my step dad in then it showed up all of a sudden. Less than a year later the radio went out. Good thing I was still under warranty at that time. Now a year and a half later the radio goes out AGAIN!!! I called to get it fixed and they absolutely will not do anything to help me. They had me call Volkswagen of America for them to help but they won't do anything unless it is pre diagnosed to which I won't put another penny into Autonation for that. Was promised a call back on whether they would diagnose it for free a week ago and have yet to hear back. Absolute worst service center and management to deal with.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Brian G at Autonation VW. Never have I experienced such a hassle-free, efficient and professional process when car shopping. Ive bought several cars from this dealership, I've went back in with those vehicles I've been ignored, treated poorly, and had an overall horrible after the sale experience. Once the sale of the vehicle is over then you are no longer important to them. Yes you may get exceptional service the day you buy, but after the keys are in your hand and the money in theirs, they don't care. My advice, go somewhere else.

I went to AutoNation Volkswagen looking for a 2015 Passat. I was greeted promptly upon arriving by Justin, and he quickly located 3 different cars that matched the description of what I was looking for. He treated me with respect and I soon felt very comfortable dealing with him. I was pre-approved for an auto loan from my bank before I went shopping for cars. Justin informed me that he could probably get me a better interest rate through another lender, and I was pleasantly surprised when he actually did just that. The whole buying process went smoothly with no problems. The price of the car that I decided to buy was fair, and I did not feel like I needed to negotiate. When it comes time to trade in my Passat for a new model in about 2 years, I definitely will return to AutoNation Volkswagen. I hope that Justin Johnson is still working there when that time comes, because I trust him and he made the buying experience fun and stress free.

We bought our 2012 Jetta there & have had all but the last oil change there. In September, I was having problems & took my Jetta in to be looked at. The battery had been dead two days in the morning. They put a charge on it and told me it wasn't the battery & needed more diagnostic. Well, I left and took it to be checked by a parts store. Actually I took it to several the next day who said it WAS the battery. I bought a new battery & had it installed. No more problems. Why then did your service people basically not be honest? P.S. There's a defect in the latch to the fuel tank cover. The plunger sticks down in so it won't open when you tap it. Make sure your plunger is popped out before you close it or you'll get very frustrated trying to open it to refuel!

My initial visit to the lot was not very impressive. That was turned around quickly after inquiring online and being contacted by Spencer M. He answered all our questions in a reasonable time and when we arrived on the lot he was very informative while still being succinct. He even had the car we were interested in prepped for our visit. I was looking online to find an affordable new car. I had been looking around for quite some time, and I decided that I wanted to come and check out a Volkswagen Jetta. When I arrived on the lot, I was greeted by an eager young man by the name of Justin. He was so relaxed, knowledgeable, and in no way pushy. He spend about half an hour or so trying to find the right vehicle. He took an interest in what I had to have, what my wants were, and what I was looking for in my vehicle. After narrowing it down to 2 vehicles, he brought them to me, so I could do a side by side comparison. I couldn't believe how fast spencer had reached out to me at such a late time. I out the notice in around 9 he responded with in minutes of my inquiry.! I arrived on the lot to just look around at some cars. I was not in the market to buy a vehicle AT ALL. I was greeted by Justin Johnson, and he was very polite and very energetic. I told him, "I am just looking." He backed off, but stuck around to answer any questions I had. I ended up taking a car for a test drive. Justin was so relaxed, knowledgeable, and never pressured me to make a purchase. During the test drive he didn't try to "sell" me on the car. We just chit chatted, and he made my experience fun. I have never felt like I was buying a car from a friend until now. He made me feel like I was a friend or family. Anyway, I ended up purchasing a vehicle that I had no intention of buying. Justin made the process so fun, flawless, and easy. I recommend if anyone is looking for a car of ANY kind go see him. I recently purchased a new vehicle at AutoNation Spokane and can't say enough about the quality of service and ease of the buying process there. We arrived to look at used VWs and Audis, and were greeted by Sales Associate Justin Johnson. He was relaxed, yet informative, and eager to give us details on any vehicle we expressed an interest in. WE test drove several cars from the VW/Audi lot, and Justin made sure we knew he was willing to show us any car on the 8 AutoNation lots. I've owned 3 Subarus in the past and wanted to check out that lot next. Justin was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. There were NO pushy salesman techniques that are such a turn-off! His objective was always to help me find THE car that best fit my criteria, not to just sell me ANY car. I ended up trading in my Subaru and drove away in a brand new one (Crosstrek XV)! The paperwork/finance ppotion of the buying process (which is usually my worst nightmare!) couldn't have gone smoother. My husband, son, and I were STARVING, so Justin offered to get the paperwork started while we grabbed a quick dinner down the street. When we got back he had everything ready to move forward. After the purchase Justin thoroughly walked me through the features of my new car, as well as service options available to me. The whole experience couldn't have gone smoother, and I am THRILLED with our new car from AutoNation!

My wife and I wanted to buy a german SUV to replace one of our vehicles. We went to one German car dealer in Spokane and were completely ignored. I got the impression that I would have to grab a salesman by the arm to get their attention. At Autonation VW however, we were met byTyler Eberle who helped us to chose a wonderful VW Tuareg and got us a model from another dealer in the right color and option package in short order. Recently purchased a 2014 VW GSR. I had to work last Saturday when my wife brought our 2008 new beetle in for service. She was the one that did most of the dealing on the new car, so when I arrived there after work, things were pretty much in line to expedite the sale. A previous dealership was to be avoided; surly advisors, poor work and high prices. My visit today was for a small thing; battery replacement in two key fobs. The parts manager was polite, competent, and quick to complete the job. And unlike our previous experiences, the price was totally reasonable, six bucks a pop plus tax. At least in this small matter, Autonation is worthy of praise.

I bought a used 2013 Passat SEL DTI. The only features I wish were included were a heated steering wheel and the to have A/C seats, otherwise perfect! I wish it performed a bit better in the snow but it does well enough. Fun to drive and looks amazing. The fuel mileage is the main reason I chose the car. With using the auto start in the cold weather 2-3 times a day, I am still averaging 580-640 miles per tank and I fill up for under $50. Very happy and would recommend to anyone who wants a reliable, fun, sporty and efficient car to drive!

I'm giving this poor not because of the person directly helping me, but because of the managers in the background. We got our certified used vehicle history and I asked about several software updates that had taken place. I was told that certified used meant everything was tip top, and not to worry. Well, we started having software issues within a few days. Heated seats, seat settings, lights, wipers. etc. I was still thinking we could just take it in and would still have given a decent, review but when I went 45 days later to get my extended trip permit I was told the bank had not sent in the title and I could not get one. Once I talked to the bank I found out that the dealer had not sent it in to the bank, and when my loan officer called on my behalf she was told that oh well, someone will be in Friday, we're clueless. Meanwhile I'm to pick my adopted son up from the hospital in TN on Friday and need my car when I return to transport him home. So I had to call the dealership myself and literally be in tears (thanks Suzie for understanding) and be on hold 21 minutes, and finally got a hold of Jerry who realized it was their issue and overnighted me some trip permits while he tried to figure out why nothing was taken care of by the people who were suppose to take care of it. So there are definitely some good people there, but you might have to jump through some hoops to get someone to hear you.

I purchased an A6 TDI from Logan and Jacob. The whole process was easy with no high-pressure sales tactics. What has impressed me the most is the customer service after the sale. Jacob did a great job explaining the car and has followed up with several phone calls (from Logan too) to make sure that we don't have any questions or concerns about the car. They definitely have exceeded my expectations.

After going to an actual VW dealer, my fiance and I had become less inclined on buying/leasing a car anymore. After an impromptu stop at AutoNation in Spokane though, we changed our minds! We were really impressed with Tylor Eberle and he was the reason we continued on and eventually leased the car that same day! The overall rating would be higher, but the application, and leasing process was a little long and we weren't as impressed with the completion on that side. However, we were 100% ok with it after the outstanding customer service we were given before that!

We bought our Passat TDI about a year ago and just had the 10K service done. The car gets great Milage as advertised 45mpg on the highway ( i drive a little fast so it could have been even better) and 35mpg around town. It does have road noise issues, but we'll see what some different tires do for that when these need to be replaced. We have a Volvo as well and overall the Volvo seems to be a step up from VW, but we are still pleased with the Passat. The service has been great. No hassles and great customer support.

It all started when we came in to get an education on the different models of VW's. I was considering the Jetta Sports wagon. Our Salesman Ed was new to the dealership but not to auto sales. He answered all our questions and listened to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. He did not waste our time trying to "up sale" us. A used Jetta Sportswagon was coming in that weekend. He kept in touch with us on its arrival. Sadly he was not working the day we came in to see the vehicle, but Adrian helped us and we went home that evening with the exact vehicle that I wanted at a more than fair price. The dealership worked seamlessly with our USAA car buying service. We appreciated that they let our dog Boomer in the dealership that evening as it was quite cold out side. Boomer enjoyed the treats and all the loving.

After finding out my (no longer reliable) 17 year old van was going to cost 3x-4x what it was worth I had to quickly find another car, Being an unsupported, single Mom of 2, living from paycheck to paycheck, I couldn't imagine being able to find an affordable, reliable newer model used car. Our salesman, Nate, helped us to obtain just the car we were looking for and Clint, the finance manager assisted in getting us a finance agreement with payments we can easily afford. These people really took care of us and made the car buying experience fast, easy and totally enjoyable. We were never pressured in any way and they were able to answer all of our questions completely and satisfactorily. I recently bought a certified pre-owned 2010 Jetta from Autonation VW, had a great sales experience with the salesperson Crystal and walked out the door a happy customer with my new car. A week later things go horribly wrong with the electrical system due to a leak in the windshield that had been replaced and not reported on the car-fax. Feeling horrible for the inconvenience, they had my car towed, provided me with a rental and took care of the repairs and made sure I was happy when I walked out the door. I must admit that I was most pleased with their attention to customer service and I thank them for their helpfulness when it came to my new car. Thank you Crystal and thank you DJ.

I have been researching the market for TDI Jetta Sport Wagons for the last year and I decided that was the car that I wanted. I have had VWs and Audi's for years and I personally think they are the best engineered vehicles out there. So I decided to test drive a 2013 Jetta Sport Wagon with the DSG transmission, and I was really amazed with the overall smoothness and responsiveness of that car. If you were ever skeptical of the top end of a diesel, don?t be, they have plenty of power and top end speed for any occasion, not to mention 48mpg. James was my salesmen and he did a great job of allowing us to really put it to a road test. Bear in mind I wasn?t necessarily looking to buy a car on the day I came in to test drive one but the sales staff really made it simple to make the transaction. They gave me a very fair trade in value for my 2004 Jetta and were very fair in all other negotiations. The VW sign and drive deal is an awesome deal and with 0% financing which I qualified for made it too easy for me to buy a car that I knew I wanted. They didn?t push me into anything, or make me feel like I had to buy a car. I have owned a lot of cars in my life and this was the first time I have ever bought a ?new? car. I?m at a point in my life where I wanted a car that I don?t have to work on to plan a trip. Which is funny because I?ve worked on cars all my life but there is a good feeling of being in a new car, it?s something I think everyone should feel. If I ever do buy another car, I will definitely allow Spokane AutoNation to make that happen, we have all heard of war stories of dealerships but that place was nothing but a fun, very relaxing, cool place, everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would never have believed it if someone would have told me that buying a car would be a easy and simple as it was. I still do have some buyers remorse as maybe I didn?t need a new car, but it?s fading now as I have a car that I did my homework on and all the people at AutoNation made that decision very simple for me. I really don?t think I would have received the trade-in value and the bargain that I got here. I?m very happy to have bought from James and AutoNation.

A few years ago I took my 2002 Jetta in for a factory recall to fix a electrical problem with the sunroof. I drop my car and left it to be fix. I had my daughter pick the car later that day. She called me on the phone and was in tears. When she went to pick up the car and the driver side seat belt would not retract and was pulled all the way out. Two years before she had rolled a car when she hit a patch of black ice and the seat belt save her from going through the wind-shield. Since then she will not get in a car with bad seat belts. The service desk man told her they didn't do any to the seat belt that she must have broken the seat belt and "you must not have noticed". They offered to fix the seat belt for $350.00 dollars with no discount. I came down to talk to them about it and the service desk man didn't even talk to me just call the service manager. The service manager flat denied they broke the seat belt and it was not their problem. By this time I am really mad and starting to yell at him. He was a big man and tried to physically intimidate me. He told me to step out the service area into a side service bay and then threatened to call the cops. Now that is what I call service. I took the car to my mechanic and had him check out what had happen and the belt's electrical squib had be fire by an electrical short probably when they were working on the sunroof electrical circuit. DO NOT buy a car from this group!

Ordered and Purchased a new 2012 Golf R and they facilitated and accommodated every request I had during the delivery process. In June 13' I purchased a 2012 Certified Jetta TDI for my wife and it might have been the quickest in and out car purchase I've ever made. Chris and Logan must have thought I missed them because just sat week I purchased a 2014 Audi Allroad and I can't say enough about the price I received on the new car or my trade in. Totally ecstatic about the whole process and we love the car. I am recommending them to friends and family and there is a good chance I will be back in the dealership looking for a Q5 and another Jetta TDI for a family member in the next 60 days. Needless to say we won't be traveling to Seattle for any future Audi/VW purchases. Great work guys!!

I would suggest waiting until Sept 2013 for Parker Volkswagen to open in Post Falls, Idaho. These guys will lie to you, make promises they will not keep, treat you like crap, treat you like an idiot, and just overall make you hate them. I overpaid on service and It was free under warranty. If their service guys believe what they say, they are [non-permissible content removed]. I wish I could leave less than 1 star. If you have a great desire for drama and getting screwed over, this is the place for you.

Another, local well known dealer is opening a VW store in Post Falls, Id. I would recommend them. AutoNation VW service will lie to you and generally treat you like trash and like an idiot. Save yourself some aggravation and headache by avoiding this place. For the time being, I am actually going 125 miles to the tri-cities for my service work until the new store opens in Post Falls. We purchased a Q5 from Jim M. and it was a very easy and enjoyable process. We knew what we wanted and since no vehicles were available, they ordered the vehicle and it was here within 2 and 1/2 months. Jim did not try to sell us any features we did not want and it was one of the easiest auto purchases we have experienced. Jim took the time to cover the basics of operating our new vehicle and did a followup call a few days after we received the Q5.

My wife and I had decided to trade in the safety of our SUV and get a more economical car. After researching our options, we decided that a VW Passat TDI would be the best fit. We called the Appleway dealership and we were treated with respect from the first call all the way through the process. The team at Appleway was fair with our trade-in value and worked to get us the best rate possible. We really appreciated their efforts and will definitely recommend them to anyone else seeking a VW or Audi.

My 18 yr old son had recently purchased a car from Appleway VW, he was so impressed with the vehicle's quality & the service that he received. At his age most Sales Associates at other lots wouldn't give him 5 minutes but Jason Wisher along with another associate were very friendly, helpful & most importantly....respectful. We have always been a 4-wheel drive family but as an effort to free up some cash in our budget my husband & I chose to downsize our vehicle. Again I was impressed with the service, Jason Wisher was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles they offer & made it a surprisingly pleasant experience. He showed us a vast selection of cars filled with options that met our interests. My husband has never enjoyed driving a car, with Jason's help we now have a car he is comfortable in.

48.9 mpg is our best so far. Usually averaging 43-46 mpg. And sporty too. Had the Prius previously, no comparison, this feels like a sports car.
