Absolute worst, I will not take my car here again... it took them 10 days to fix my car when they told me it'd only take 4 hours! They took my car apart without having the replacement parts ready to install afterwards as well as me playing phone tag with them for any sort of update on my vehicle... they said they ordered the parts the next day after I dropped my car off and said the parts would be there that night and it'd be ready for pick up and they'd call me that night to get it, that was at 9:30AM no response from them after that, so I called them at 5:00PM to ask and said they didn't know when the parts would get in and they would call me the next day. No call the next the day so I called them, they said that id have my car back in 2-3 days... I called after 2 days to ask for a update, they said another 2 days. I called them the next week and they said that the truck my parts were supposed to be on, were not on it so they didn't know yet again when my car would get done. so I called them the next day asking about the parts and they said "I don't know man, our hands are tied" and laughed it off... this was all after I fought to get a loaner car or a rental from this place playing phone tag with the employees. absolute garbage service. every other place I have taken my vehicle has been phenomenal! whether they clean out my car, wash it, fill up the tank to make sure its full or do any minor catch up for my vehicles that's needed... this place did none of that or really anything courteous at all except make excuses for having terrible service.

Extending a warning to anyone owning an Audi needing service. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. Service will be much quicker to drive to the Seattle area and not have to deal with the frustration of poor communication and the likelihood of a week or more wait for minor work. To add to the extremely poor service, my Q7 was returned to me with damage in multiple areas. Texts, pictures and VM's informing me were contradictory depending on which tech was responding. Their gross negligence, in writing, will be helpful filing a claim. As mentioned in other reviews, the service manager, Randy, is dishonest and arrogant. Do your research before coming here and if you do, take before pictures of your car and give them a copy of noted marks or damage on arrival.

I went to get my first oil change in my car, I was taken back right away. Time frame said hour and half but it took almost 3 hours, I didn’t mind though. Bryson was the man that helped me and with out even asking why it took so long he apologized for the wait and told me the reason it took so long. He was very nice and professional. There was another man, I didn’t get his name, but he was also very very friendly. Over all amazing place and kind people.

My wife dropped her car off this morning for her appointment and was told it would be done by the days end. Of course this isn't the case. She's 8 and half months pregnant with a doctor's appointment tomorrow and was told she can just come get her car and bring it back another time. We have leased 5 vehicles between VW and Audi since 2015. We never will again. This is our third issue in a calender year. Don't bother attempting to reach out. Your incompetence is noted. I just pray this comment reaches anyone on the fence about doing business with VW Spokane. It won't be pleasant. You won't be valued. Go somewhere else.

Zach Foster was an honest salesman who didn't push us into buying anything. He also took us into a parking lot and went through all the features for our Tiguan. We actually had two salesmen, because we came and looked at vehicles the weekend before. My wife and I are the kind of people who need to think about things for a few days before we purchase anything big. Zach was by far better than the first salesman. I asked Zach about a specific vehicle over the phone, and he had the car waiting for us at the front door when we arrived. Things your doing right: 1. coffee, 2. friendly service 3. Chase did a great job explaining the ins and outs of the extended warranty. 4. Bringing the car to us instead of having us walk around the lot. Things to improve: Stock some teether crackers for babies. We were there quite late, and the baby was fussy. We luckily had a teether crackers for her, but not having the crackers would of stopped us from finishing up the deal. Chase did have a great bag of goodies other than that though. Ordering a specific car: It's nice to have cars on the lot, but it would be nice to order one with a specific color and with specific features. For instance, I'm looking at getting a Jetta with a 6 speed next year. I'm not sure if one pays ahead of time or what a guy does for that.

I came in for an oil change and was treated like a king. They have coffee service that’s better than Starbucks. The car was completed in a timely fashion. They hand washed the vehicle, provided a comfortable seating area, took a video and sent it to my phone as a text. I’ve never experienced anything like it and I’ve been to scores of dealerships to have my car serviced.

I visited for a service and multi-point inspection. I did the early bird drop off and as I pulled up they opened the bay door for me and took my car back right away. I asked about some work that would have cost around $1,500 more than I pause. They looked into it and advised I didn’t need that work done. I am grateful they were honest. The service was done very quick and the rep was in contact with me through the service. Great experience, will definitely return.

Just wanted to say I had to come in from out of town to do this sale, and I had a lot of communication from the dealership over a 2-3 week period, from when I reserved the car, until it arrived at the dealership, and through completing the sale. It was a very easy transaction and went how I hoped it would. I didn't have a trade in, and there wasn't much need for negotiation, so it was pretty quick.

Ordered an ID4 EV awd in October 2021. Because of VW production delays I waited 17 MONTHS for delivery of what became a 2022 model with commensurate price raises. It arrived near the beginning of March 2023. I was down south and said I couldn't make it back up until the end of the month (I don't live IN the Spokane area but further south). Auto nation salesperson said his manager wouldn't hold the car beyond the 31st. We agreed. Even though I had $500 down on the car they sold it out from underneath me on the 28th. This is all in black and white and can't be reasonably disputed. Major contractural and moral lapse.

I’ve purchased a number of cars in my long lifetime. I don’t like to be ‘sold’ to. I do my data collection and ask the sales person to fill in what I need to know beyond what I have gathered. The buying experience was great and felt really good about the deal. Would recommend anyone here for a VW for the pre-purchase experience. That said, once the deal was done we've had to constantly chase people around to get the floor mats that were promised as well as a slight mechanical defect. It's been well over a month. Also, we were told finance would be following up to let us know the final interest rate - never happened and had to chase down our sales person who just sent a text to confirm. We've been out there twice post sale. So, buy your next car there? Yes. Any confidence after they get their money. NO!

I tried to schedule service form phone and computer. When trying to schedule the service, my options were 12 a.m. , 1 a.m. and 2a.m. I called in , was able to get Randy in Service, Previous service scheduled for my services last year was frustrating , could never get a real person to talk to. Randy got me scheduled. Worked with Brycen he was great. The only issue I had was I stated that my left rear tire light came on 4 days earlier. I asked them to check the tire. I was told all was good , filled to proper air pressure. The next morning going into work the light came back on. I was at work for an hour and was told I have a flat tire. It was a little inconvenience to bring my car back to dealership, I use my car for my job in outside sales. I don't think I should have been charged the full price on it . I went in for an oil change and cleaning for my appearance protection. Two separate people assured me I would have my car detailed at this shop. After dropping my car off, I was called two hours later and told I needed to file a claim with some other office to have my car cleaned for my appearance protection. Also, I had been sitting for 15 minutes waiting for my shuttle and the driver was never notified in that time. He happened to wander by and ask if I needed a ride and the man checking me in said that he was "going to message him soon". I needed to get to work, I really didn't appreciate him taking his time getting my ride.

After getting screwed over by Carvana, this was a much more positive buying experience. Jordan was a riot and a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, after my husband and I bought our vehicle, we have since been treated like hot dog meat. We have reached out on three occasions and we’re told each time that our license plates were “in the mail” or “yes ma’am we will overnight these to you today”, we have yet to get our tags and now the temp plates are expired. And now I, along with all four sticky fingered children get to load up and make the 1.15 hr (each way) drive to pick these up. Can you sense the tension? Definitely turned a positive experience into yet another disappointing experience on par with Carvana.

TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: AutoNation Volkswagen practices yo-yo financing. I’m posting this review with the hope that other potential customers do not have the same experience. I went to AutoNation to test drive a Volkswagen GTI and if the conditions were right, purchase the vehicle. I was hard set on the conditions of the purchase and if they could not be met or did not seem realistic to the salesman, I would be okay with walking away and going on with my day. However that is not what happened. What I experienced was 5 hours of negotiation and 3 days with a GTI that had to be returned. Why I did I have to return the GTI after 3 days? A deal that satisfied my conditions was met and was assured multiple times by the salesman, sales manager, and even the general manager that everything was good to go. Before we started to finalize the paperwork I had asked the question again to verify that the deal was good to go and was assured it was. **As a side note, I had also expressed that I had no interest in purchasing any additional services such as GAP insurance, extended warranties, or maintenance packages but was forced to go through the process. I had reiterated my objection to purchasing additional services to the finance department and they still tried convincing me it was “in my best interest.” In the end I still said “no” and could see the individual who tried to sell me the add-on services was frustrated.** On 3 June, I had received a call from the General Manager informing me that they were unable to secure financing for the GTI and that I would have to put a $5,000 downpayment in order to increase the likelihood of getting financed or return the vehicle. Apparently, being assured that the deal was good to go was complete bull**** so I agreed to return the vehicle. ******************************************************************************************** I filed a formal complaint with Volkswagen USA regarding my experience. They investigated my claim, but in the end were not able to take any action with the dealership since it is independently owned. In other words, nothing will change because any disciplinary action would be done in house presumably by the general manager, which I have zero confidence in because he enabled his staff to engage in this practice. I would encourage anyone interested in buying a Volkswagen to avoid AutoNation, but if that is not possible be cautious when interacting with the following individuals: Artie Diaz-Gonzalez, General Manager Jason Melton, Sales Manager David Kelly, Sales

I chose a 5 star rating not because of impulse but because I had a really good 'first-time' experience at VW Spokane. When I brought my car in for servicing, Mike was very welcoming and greeted me with a warm-welcome. I expressed to him that it was my first time coming in and he was very hospitable. His interpersonal skills was amazing with me, he explained to me everything that was needed to be done clearly and gave me recommendations of the things that needed to be done or doesn't need to be done right away. Most importantly, he was genuine and honest with all the response that he gave me. When I was waiting in the lounge area for my car, I was also greeted by Otto (Brycen) and he was wonderful when explaining to me further progress if I wanted to continue. He was warm and made a nice small talk with me about cars and I just felt connected as if I was part of the VW's family. When I was walking around stretching my legs, I got to connect with Tanner (salesman) and it was just such a treat making conversation because not everyday do you get to have a genuine simple conversation with salesmen about life's journeys and things in common. I really enjoyed my time at VW Spokane, the people around there were all very nice people and it made my wait go by quick. Everything was very professional and I could see that VW Spokane made every effort to welcome customers (like myself) in without being pushy or with an attitude. All in all, I give VW Spokane a 10/10 I recommend VW Spokane to anyone looking to service their cars or have inquiries buying from them. Their customer service is impeccable!

Was working with gavyn virtually to try and get into an A3 etron hatchback they had. Honestly a fantastic car. I asked him to hold it for the upcoming weekend as I’d have to road-trip out. I decided to test drive one near me just to get a feel for the size of the car (I’m 6’5) as I thought it was more of an estate wagon. Well, after test driving the car I just couldn’t move forward due to size and reached out to Gavyn to cancel on their car. He was professional throughout the whole process even after I cancelled on them. I eventually settled into an a4 allroad wagon. If this dealer had it I would have bought it from them, great group of guys!

The VW iD4 was purchased in November. The vehicle runs good and is well designed. The Autonation Dealer who sold us the car has been challenging to work with. From the first meeting through the purchase and poor follow through, this dealership has not been as helpful as we have been used to with prior new vehicle purchases I have made from other dealers. It has been two and a half months and the dealership still struggles to figure out how to mount a license plate to an ID4 in North America. Our ID4 was built in Germany, so the bumper is shaped in a way that requires a license mounting bracket. However, this seems to be an impossible task for Autonation to figure out how to mount the license plates, three trips to the dealership later, plus dishonest commitments. I am concerned about how reliable any sort of repair they would be capable of.

I will tell people not to ever go to this dealership. They will tell you anything to get you to buy a vehicle and try to get away with it. I purchased a van from them less than a year ago. They told me it had Apple car play and it took me months to get it to work for only a couple weeks I even took it back into them and they couldn’t figure it out. They told me they would clean a stain on one of the seats and never did. They told me they would replace a hardware cover to the entertainment console and gave me the run around for nine months giving me the illusion that it was ordered and months later i went back and found out they didn’t order it and had to order the whole console. At that point I was told by the manager that they would install the whole unit and they didn’t. They took the hardware cover off the new unit and put it on the old unit in my car. So after giving me the runaround for nine months and gas lighting me they did the bare minimum to compensate for their actions on top of lying to me about installing the new entertainment console. I waited to write a review because I wanted to give them a chance to right their wrongs and they didn’t. Instead they offered me more and lied.

I'm surprised volkswagen allows them to keep their service license to be honest... I'd consider buying vw again when there's a different service department.

My wife and I purchased our new 2022 Tiguan SEL R-Line through Jordan Rusin on New Year’s Eve. What a great experience. We were able to compare both the Atlas SEL R-Line and the Tiguan we purchased. Both drove really nice, but we went with the Tiguan based on price and we really didn’t need the bigger Atlas after we thought about it. Jordan and his Sales Manager John were great to work with. Jordan was very personable and had us laughing through out the whole time we were there. Jordan in the finance department was awesome too. Especially when he let my 20 year old son sit in the Audi R8 on the showroom floor and had someone start it up for him. The look on his face was priceless. The buying process here was enjoyable. We didn’t feel pressured one bit.

I want to start off with the mechanics that worked on my vehicle were excellent, they didn’t trump up fake fixes or try to encourage unnecessary things to up the bill. The front desk has a lot of room for improvement. I showed up and there were 4 reps sitting at the customer service desk, 1 was on the phone and 3 would not look up from their phones. I said “Hi, I have an appointment.” No one acknowledged me for at least 5 minutes (I was the only customer there). Once the rep on a call got off he looked at the others annoyed and helped me. He was good (wish I could remember his name) he told me they would be done in 2 hours…. After 4 hours I called to check and they would not answer the phones.. any department, not just service. Finally after an hour of trying I got ahold of someone in sales that had to walk over to service and tell them to answer the phone, he said to me “I’ll make sure they answer, they aren’t doing anything.” Which tells me they were just ignoring all calls. After everything, my biggest complaint is the refusal to get off the Cell phones while customers stand around. No one seemed to care.

Autonation VW Spokane used to be a caring professional car service & dealership, however the past year has been a more horrible experience than the previous. I bought my first new car from them earlier this year, I also bought a few of the add on to ensure that my new car continues to look and run like a new car. A few months after purchasing my vehicle it started having an intermittent problem with the infotainment center and the upholstery in the rear cargo area started to peel off. When I called to schedule a diagnostic appointment, no one was available to answer the phone. I left a message, and no one returned my call. I called repeatedly and still no answer or return call. I then contacted the salesman to assist with scheduling, then the service tech treated me as if I had no idea what I was talking about. The defective upholstery was reglued, and I was sent on my way with no real resolve. Then three visits later I the malfunction with the infotainment center is still malfunctioning, the upholstery is still peeling, and I have also scheduled a detail every time. I bought the detail package. Upon picking up my vehicle, EVERY TIME I have been told that it didn't get to the detail shop. After the 1st, and maybe even the 2nd time it might be acceptable to tell a loyal customer that her scheduled service didn't get completed, but the 3rd and 4th time I'd make sure it was done, even if I did it myself. But it seems to be the acceptable norm now. The last visit, I requested that a detail be completed, since I have not had one performed to date. I also scheduled an oil change; the infotainment center be diagnosed, and the upholstery reattached. Three days later my oil was finally changed, nothing else was completed. I was told that, they may possibly need a couple days to look at the vehicle. I agreed and asked for a rental since I was already told that a loaner wasn't available. This was a manager's decision, however he left, and they would call me to confirm if they would be keeping the car and provide an answer about the rental. No call, so I called every number repeatedly and left messages and still no return call. I then returned back to the dealership to get my car. I was told by the sales guys that the service guys all left 40 minutes ago, and no message was left about my car. They said that they would leave a message to have someone call me in the morning. I called since no one called me and the same thing again after calling back again. Again, when I returned to the dealership, I was informed that my oil still wasn't changed, and my vehicle wasn't ready. I was promised that my vehicle would be completed first thing in the morning. So now I have unexpectedly had to stay in Spokane for two nights, I live in western Washington. I had to buy something to sleep in, something to wear and hygiene products. I also had to call my boss to request another day off. I wasn't offered any time of compensation for my inconvenience. I don't understand why it took 3 days to complete an oil change.

My girlfriend and I were on the hunt for a new vehicle. Our original #1 pick was a brand new Toyota Highlander. While waiting for one to be ready to drive down the street, we stopped in at Volkswagen to check out their options. We had the absolute best service possible. Got in and out with a brand new 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan off the showroom floor! When a salesman tells you their number one priority is customer service with or without a sale… it’s very reassuring. Brandon was exceptional, very knowledgeable, and even stayed late to help us out. John was great at explaining the process of purchasing and was direct and to the point. Isaiah was quick and polite with the financing, went the extra mile to ensure we got the lowest possible rate. This whole crew was spectacular and the store was in immaculate condition. Great experience when I bought the car. When I took it in for repair, I had an appointment at 9:00 but there wasn’t a tech to fix it until 3:00. Then the part didn’t get there until the next day, but they didn’t get to it until the day after that. It took 3 days to have a repair that took about 5 minutes to do. Then it failed again almost immediately, so we have to take the car in a second time for them to fix that. Not impressed but probably an isolated incident

We went in on Christmas Eve to look at a vehicle after feeling very uneasy about Post Falls VW. They were pushy and were trying to get us to buy with a sketchy finance deal. So we went over here and Gezz and John Carey were phenomenal. It was in the middle of an ice storm and they had the vehicle we were interested in pulled into the service bay and warm so we could check it out. Gezz did a great job trying to narrow down the features we needed and went to work. John Carey the sales manager was very kind and friendly and never rude or pushy. I needed a shuttle service to get home, when they called to let me know that my car was ready, asked if I needed a ride to call them. After an hour I hadn't called back, but they contacted me again to see I did need a ride. Follow-up was unexpected but appreciated. The only things that could have made the experience top notch was after fixing my drivers door and window, cleaning the window would have been nice. In addition, a beer vending machine in the breakroom would be nice, lol.

The 5 star rating was because of the young lady in the tech area. While my tech who checked me in that morning was working diligently on the phone to a pre-existing customer, in what sounded like an unfortunate situation, and the other two gentleman service technicians were discussing their racing tires and their difficulties in getting to work today while I waited. The young lady noticed as she walked in that I wasn't being helped by the others, quickly found my keys, brought my car around found my invoice and then apologized for the wait, and got me out the door. By the way my original tech was still explaining to the other customer on the phone the situation for what seemed like the fourth time being patient and professional. The other two were still discussing how their Audi's and race tires weren't effective in snow. Also, the text notification didn't work this time, but has in the past. My vehicle looked the same as when I picked it up, wasn't rinsed off.

Tried calling service department for status of oil change and a warranty repair multiple times without an answer. Finally started calling new car sales to get a live person to assist and after 2 weeks waiting to find out what the status was, a sales associate helped me check out and bring my car to me as the staff in service didn't acknowledge me at all. Someone needs to answer calls and communicate with customers.

He listened intently, responded when needed and then went above and beyond our expectations, even while it was clear they are short staffed, extremely busy and dealing with a multitude of customers and their own issues. To Auto Nation: it would be in your best interest to keep, reward, compensate and promote people who work this hard. You don't find this level of customer service in this environment especially in his age bracket. We cannot say enough how much we appreciated all Jacob did for us and what a bright spot he is for your company.

If I could make it minus stars I would. My wife dropped her car off on her way to the airport because it had a check engine light on and the gas cap was locked out not allowing her to add fuel. When she picked it up they told her nothing was wrong with it nor did they address the leaking def line under the hood she also asked to be serviced. When she asked to know what the check engine light code definition was they belittled her and made her feel dumb. Definitely not a good way to get return customers.

When taking my car in for trade in, the truck we were looking at wasn’t ready for a test drive, but fortunately Gavin made sure that our trade in value did not expire and that we didn’t lose out on the truck we were wanting to get. AutoNation Volkswagen service department is an absolute mess. Called multiple times with no answer. Show up to pick my car up on the first day, supposedly didn't have an appointment scheduled. Left my car over night to get the oil changed. Showed up the second day to pick it up, oil still wasn't changed, but I did get a phone call saying it was done... Dropped it off for the THIRD day in a row to hopefully get my oil changed.

The overall process was good except im still without plates almost 90 days later. I live 3 hours out of Spokane and the original agreement was to have them mailed to me when they arrived at the dealership. I have made numerous calls since early September and have been told things like "oh ya, they've been mailed out" and "oh, you wanted those sent out?" Can't get a manger to return calls, noone seems to know what's going on. Just terrible, and I'm so disappointed because in the past I've always had wonderful experiences there.

Have not gotten offered a rental car it all and have been told multiple times that theyll call me back or that theyll look into it , and yet till this day they still have not even touched my car after specficly telling them im a fulltime mom, waitress as well at the time a fullltime student which because of my car situation ended up extending my schooling so now im paying more for that as well as insurance and a car payment even though i havent had one . Someone that works there has to be making up these positive reviews because I have never in my life had such bad service. My car went in last Saturday to have a battery change, a fuse switch out and a service. It's now one week later and it STILL isn't ready. No one has bothered to call all week and when I or my husband have got through its a different story everytime. First my husband was told on Wednesday that it'd be done by Thursday end of day. So, I turn up Friday end of day since im.now relying on friends and uber to transport ne because my husband is away on business. Guess what....its isn't finished. I'm told the repair team and customer rep have gone home and that it was all done but the oil and transmission fluid. So , I'm super patient and polite considering the circumstances. A note was left for the rep to call me the next day. Guess what no call. I call them and my rep tells me the fuse part isn't in yet, but I was informed that was already repaired. Then I get some excuse of I'm sorry we aren't usually this poor with communication but someone quit, but I was given a "safe guarantee" it'd be done by noon today. Well surprise surprise my husband finally gets through to them today and are told it isn't finished and that the team working on my car don't work today!!!????? This is an absolute joke. Almost unbelievable. We've been before and the service wasn't too good then either but you know...always give someone a second chance. There is no excuse for lying to a customer and never making contact to keep them informed. I have been through the week being kind, calm and patient but it seems that has been taken advantage of.

I took my car in for computer issues with crank and oil sensors in March 2022. It already had new sensors for both. I was told they were both bad. After several calls about the status of my car, I received it back (with the check engine light still on) The middle of October with new sensors and I was told that the problem was the wiring. I was still charged 85% of the repair bill after waiting SEVEN MONTHS for the vehicle.

2022 Update: Brought in my Volkswagen for an oil change at 1:30pm and told it would be ready by 3:30pm. I arrived back early and it was all set to go by 3:00pm! Shout out to James B for helping me save money by double checking if I had a oil change service included with my lease. 👍🏻👍🏻 Chad was my salesman during my visit, I have to say this was the most issue free car purchase I’ve ever experienced. Prior to arriving I expressed interest online in the specific model I was looking for, Chad reached out to me to see when I’d be available for a test drive. Upon arriving he remembered me and was extremely quick to set up the test drive. The purchase process after the test drive was extremely fluid and quick. Honestly, I’d recommend everyone yeas over to Autonation for their next purchase.

My car broke down again (2nd time) from the same failure. Volkswagen had forgot two screws from Factory. Adam and his team took excellent care of me and my vehicle. Update October 2022: I recently went in for my 70k service and the service department was super busy! They still checked me in on time and went over what the service entailed. I didn’t need to use a loaner or receive a ride so I can’t review that service. I can however review their service managers and their techs! They took good care of my car, and when I was going over the notes with the man at the desk, he told me that my tires definitely needed to be replaced much sooner rather that later. I asked him what tires he used and he actually took me to another service manager who used to sell tires! That man was just as kind and patient and took the time to go over 3 separate options and ask what I was looking for in a tire. I’ll be going back in a couple of weeks to have my tires replaced and have no doubt that will be done well and with great customer service as always! The service manager Chris was great! He took the time to explain what was going to happen during my service and also spent a good chunk of time going over my warranty with me. I had tons of questions about my warranty and he made sure I understood each answer before he moved on to the next question. He was very friendly and I’ll definitely be making the trip back up to Spokane from Pullman for future service

I came in for a recall on my front airbags. I made the appointment 2 weeks in advance, specific for this and nobody ordered any parts for this fix until after I brought it in for my appointment. I drove 300+ miles to this dealer for the fix. I live in Montana. Monday morning, I dropped it off. I was told I would be notified by text with updates. Tuesday, I hadn't heard anything so I dropped by to check on it. They told me that they had to order a part and it would be in that afternoon and would be fixed by the end of day. Again they would notify me with an update. Wednesday afternoon I spent 3 hours calling their store to find out why nobody has updated me and when this was going to be fixed. I got the run around about them waiting for a part. After much consistency on my part, they searched again for where this part was. It wasn't arriving until the following week. So...They failed to order the part for the vehicle when I made the appointment...They failed to keep me informed on the status of my vehicle.... They gave me incorrect information when I inquired about when it would be done....Bottom line...it was a recall and they were not getting paid for the job. I was put further than the bottom of the important category...So I went back home to Montana after they had my vehicle for 4 days with nothing done and a week of my time lost forever. I still need to get this fix done but it will not be with Spokane Audi..

Some of the worst service I have ever received. When I dropped off my car they were polite and attentive. Then I went 5 days with No update on my car. I repeatedly called and left voicemails as no one ever answered. What was supposed to be a check up on my car to let me know what needed to be done turned into a week with no communication. The second week after numerous phone calls I received a call back that stated my car would be done in 3 days. That day came and went again with no update or attempts at communication. By the time I got my car back they had promised me 4 different days that it would be done. Each time I called to complain about the lack of communication I was told they were understaffed. If you value good customer service, communication, and efficient work I would not take my car here.

I was told I didn't need an appointment to clear an ad-blue warning. Just come in and they would clear it right away. I arrived at 11 am. After half an hour I inquired about the status of my car. It turned out no one had taken it to the tech for service. After another half hour they said the tech had gone to lunch. The GM called him back in. I left after about 1 1/2 hours.

We had the pleasure of working with Isaiah to purchase our new Volkswagen Atlas! Within one minute of us pulling on the lot, Isaiah was out talking with us and offered a test drive of the Atlas. During the drive he answered every question in thorough detail and also offered various specs about the car we didn’t even know to ask about! Isaiah’s knowledge of the Atlas, along with other comparable cars, was extensive and just helped our decision to buy that much easier. After coming back from the test drive, Isaiah did not rush us at all and was very patient when discussing payment terms. I wish this was a positive review, but unfortunately it isn’t. We had a scheduled appointment this past Saturday at 8:30 am for an oil change and a simple recall fix. We were told the appointment would take at the most three hours. We hadn’t heard from the service department, so we called the service department numerous times and we’re not able to get through. We ended up calling the sales department and had them transfer us to service. We found out that the car had not even been pulled in to a service bay. We cancelled the service and picked up the car that sat there for four hours. The excuse was “we are understaffed”. We have never had a good experience at this location and have heard this excuse for the past couple of years. We will take our cars elsewhere.

I inquired about a specific vehicle two days in a row. I was told I needed an appointment when I asked if I could just stop in and see the advertised vehicle. An appointment was made for today at 3:30. I explained I was coming from Coeur d'Alene. I put the address into my GPS and ended up at the lot nextdoor, still AutoNation. The gentleman looked into finding me the vehicle I had an appointment to see, come to find out it wasn't ready, hasn't been safety checked and not on the lot. Very unprofessional. when I responded to a text, I got a less than professional response. I will not purchase from you and I will not put a good word out for your dealership.

Answer I got was I don't know. Which is a half hour after my wife asked and they gave her the same answer. They finally called the mechanic to ask.... he told them 20-30min. That has co.e and gone. I love my Volkswagen Atlas CrossSport. However ever since moving to the area and needing to get work done by the AutoNation service department, I will never buy a Volkswagen or Audi again just so I won’t have to deal with this dealership. AutoNation is the only VW dealership in Spokane so they are the only authorized service center. The next closest is in Idaho. I have had a lot of trouble scheduling an appt because they do not have any capacity and are scheduling out 1+months in advance. That is, if you can get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Currently I have an airbag sensor that needs fixed and I can’t get ahold of anyone to see if they have the part or can schedule an appointment. They are understaffed and and overwhelmed. Additionally, they only do not have loaner cars to use and did not tell me they provided a shuttle service through Lyft until my 2nd appt. I would advise anyone think twice about buying a Volkswagen or Audi in this area due to this issue alone. Update 9/9/2022 Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism is still rampant in the service department. The have moved to an unreliable shuttle system that is not always available. After months of calling, I found the best way to reach the service department is to call the sales floor and ask them to walk over to get someone on the phone. I recommend anyone who needs dealer service take their car to Post Falls Volkswagen.

My daughter was driving to WSU to start the fall semester and her car broke down outside of Washtucna. We had it towed to AutoNation Volkswagen Spokane two and a half weeks ago. I live in Western Washington, so can't exactly drop by. I've phoned multiple times to talk to their service department. I have NEVER been able to reach their service department by phone. I talk with the business phone assistance folks and they say they will always have someone from service call me, but I've received only a text from them in the past week and a half, and it was a mistake about another car. Customer service is absolutely horrible. Recommend not ever using them.

A week goes by, no communication, can't reach anyone at service. Calling to sales gets picked up immediately but still no update on status. Drive down, talk for 30 mins to find out nothing has been done in a whole week except an inspection (a week to do that?) and need to order parts now (how are they not ordered yet??), another minimum 2 days. No loaner cars available (one of the biggest VW auto dealer in Spokane they claim ). Owners and managers should be embarrassed. Update: was quoted 30 mins for car pick up. They never brought it over from service to dealer. Absolutely incredible lmao. Adam was extremely helpful.

We got a good car for a good price. That's the reason we didn't leave. They replaced the brakes on the jetta we purchased- their shop doesn't know how to scrub them off so they have been squeaking and smoking. I had to look into that myself to find assurance that's normal if a shop is slightly careless when they put them in. Not the best communicators, as they were plenty agreeable to some things until they had my signature on a document. You'll be treated differently if you turn down their financing, and I guarantee the process will take longer, and they'll try to convince you to let them run your credit for a loan even after you say no. The entire process slowed to a crawl after we firmly stated, not for the first time, that we had our own financing arranged and didn't need theirs. They owe us a windshield as part of the deal, the salesman promised us a call the evening we purchased to update us and he never followed through. I have a feeling I wl be fighting with them over their promise to replace it, based on the fact they won't even keep their word over a phone call. The moral here is that if you're willing to put up with some very sub standard service, communication and treatment, you'll likely drive off (eventually) with a decent deal.

My car was at this location for 100 days. I was completely stranded. Scott told me my car would be "started next week by our ONE technician." It took me 14 weeks to get my only transportation. I waited for your 1 tech to take 2 separate week vacations, get covid and waste a bunch of time telling how they couldn't start labor on my car because of the warranty not being explicit that they were not going to pay. Labor should be started asap, or I shouldhave been offered a loaner car. Different employees would answer the phone, when I could get through, once per week, after calling all day and say the last person I spoke to is no longer with the company. A huge corporation like yours should be able to run somewhat more efficiently than what was presented here. Maybe pay people more, or treat them better. Truly, one of the worst professional experience I've ever encountered. Hours, days, months, 1/4 of a year!

Soon as I arrived, they didn’t hesitate to start vacuuming my vehicle. They were very professional and courteous. While my vehicle was getting maintenance on, they walked me around the facility and showed me where everything was to make sure that I was comfortable while I waited. Let me say first off it is very hard to get a hold of any one in service department (that is why two stars). I think the numbers on line may not be working. So someone should check the and go through the number sequence to see if they are correct. Since I don’t live in the Spokane area this is very convenient for me. Now when I do get a hold of some one they are friendly and helpful. Inside the department there seems to be some miss communication. I was told I would receive text messages on updates and that it would take 1-1.5 hours for my service. I never received a text and 4 hours later I started calling to see what was going on.

I think my experience was the result of a series of unfortunate events. It's rather hard to give an overview of my repair without going into details. Instead, I think it would be better to describe the events. Mainly, the ongoing construction of the new service dept. Apparently, it has been plagued by delays and completion is long overdue. Because of this, service work is performed at another Auto Nation site. The problem with this is the lack work space and staffing created by the shared working facility. Adding to this is the confusion and communication issues that come from separating customer service dept. and the actual shop. This cannot be overstated. Over the period of several months. I worked with several people who really tried to keep me informed and perform the needed repairs. But, because of the situation, this wasn't always the case. I would expect this to change for the better once the new shop is completed. It's too bad the project was affected by COVID, labor and supply chain shortages, and the unforeseen issues that pop up with any construction project. I have had conversations with the new general manager regarding my experience and I think he's the guy who can lead the staff to get this dealership back on track. Of course, it's not going to happen overnight. I don't know why anyone would expect it to.

The sales part of the experience wasn’t too bad. I did have to wait for my car a little longer since it was just received and they hadn’t started their process of inspecting etc. Their detailing of the vehicle was pretty bad. It was a sad attempt to clean out the interior. The exterior was horrible but not as bad. For example I found candy, candy wrappers and old food under both seats and dried coffee all over the cup holder area. The worst part about all of this? I spent 40k on a used car and they couldn’t even check the air pressure on my tires. Driver front 21 psi, driver rear 22 psi, passenger front 32 psi and passenger rear 24 psi. Regardless I still love the car but I no longer trust Autonation to touch my car ever again.

Took my car to check what I wrong with it at 7:00am, I have to called them to find out what is wrong, took me 4 times to get a hold of someone, I have to call a different department to get a hold of service department. Then they told me that they need to change the thermostat and will take 8 hours to do the job and can not get it done until Thursday. Experience was good for our 50K mile check up/inspection and oil change. No wash was provided as it typically is sanitized, vacuumed, and washed and ready at pick up. Not sure why it wasn't washed? But service otherwise was top notch! Will go back! Kind folks to deal with.

Then they told me that they need to change the thermostat and will take 8 hours to do the job and can not get it done until Thursday. Customer service is bad. They don’t answer the phone to check on repairs. When they do there are conflicting stories on your vehicle and what needs to be done. Don’t expect a call back if you leave a message.

I hope my experience was out of the ordinary, and there isn't enough space here to fully describe the whole thing. But, to sum it up It seemed like it mostly the result of the construction project at Valley VW, and the service dept. relocated to another Auto Nation site. The confusion and communication issues that arise from that situation turned out to be formidable. Because of those conditions, along with staffing problems and supply chain delays that have become normal these days. This experience took place over several months instead of days. However, I had the use of my car for almost all of that time, and a loaner vehicle was provided twice. The staff seemed sincere about resolving the issues, but under those conditions, one could tell that morale was a problem. Still, the folks that I had contact with were pleasant and helpful. But, as time went on, I began to get frustrated at the delays, and staffing issues. But, finally Ken, the new general manager found himself as the new service manager just at the same time as the parts were located. Repairs were completed, and everything seems to be working great. I would like to thank VWofA, and Auto Nation for honoring their warranty and providing the services needed to get me and my family back on the road with a properly working Touareg.

We made an appointment to see a VW iD4. Came in and met Spencer Mittan the EV specialist who gave us a tour. My eyes wondered to the Audi e-tron parked nearby. We went for a test drive and we were sold... on the car, Audi Spokane and... Spencer Mittan. What a great knowledge base and Spencer is a great educator! We ordered a car after spending time searching for incoming options in the PNW. Found a car and we were kept in the loop while we waited. The car arrived and it was perfect! We love our new e-tron! I worked with Jordan, and originally came in for a different car than what I bought. He was honest with us in telling us the one important thing about our new car was not in the car that we were looking at. We found another option, it was a little out of my price range - but everyone was able to get our payments to a price per month that was reasonable and feasible. Car shopping is kind of daunting, especially when you don't always know what you are getting yourself into. Overall, we were very pleased. We did not feel pressured into buying a vehicle, and every one there was very friendly.

I was shocked to look this place up and see lower review scores than what I experienced. I was looking for a car for my daughter for months and a VW Golf popped up on auto trader which was at this dealership. I’m from out of state but was willing to travel to get the right car since the Golf’s are pretty hard to find right now. I reserved the car through their website. It didn’t even require a deposit though I was willing to do that if necessary. Their website system for reserving was good and the next day the online sales manager called to work through details and put me in touch with Gavyn who was a new sales guy (just graduated high school). Gavyn did a video walk around of the car for me via FaceTime. I booked a flight to pick up the car. Gavyn was sick the day I flew in so Jordan stepped in. He picked me up from the airport which was super nice. Great guy, friendly, honest. Did a quick test drive and the car was indeed what they said it was, which was a relief after flying up there sight unseen besides FaceTime. Paperwork was a little slow because their usual finance person was out sick so a woman from the Subaru dealership stepped in to process everything. Although she offered a bunch of extras as dealerships always do, she wasn’t pushy at all. Because I was buying from out of state they set up all the registration stuff for me which made it super convenient. The DMV’s across WA and CA are slammed so it took a few weeks but sure enough the registration paperwork was all in order and as simple as could be. There were some rubber floor mats we realized we’re missing when I picked up the car. They had them shipped to my home address. This was literally the best car buying experience I’ve ever had and I’ve purchased at least 10 cars since my early 20’s. I’ve had some other positive experiences and some negative ones as well. But honestly, the team at this dealership was incredible. I kept waiting for the bottom to fall out and for some terrible surprise based on general car buying experiences but I can vouch for Spokane VW without any reservations at all. My next VW or Audi purchase will absolutely be with them as well, regardless of them being out of state just based on this experience.

The experience was educational for both sides, it tested my patience and endurance in holding up to my moral values of working hard to not become one who thought of only myself, and also to show that the end result could be an out come that would work out for both sides. Meaning that because of the way that Ken (the new General mgr for the service dept) worked things out it then become a positive thing and i was then able to show that i was thankful for the service. This also means that if i was to be in the local area for any period of time and had to have service again, I would highly consider the way that I was treated, and that the end result was good, showing that in the end the dealership was not being just as many would say "a lover of money", they actually put together there minds, saw the whole puzzle, worked on the pieces and then worked it out with me. Yes, without going into the whole problem it was discouraging in the beginning, but with working on principles from God's word the bible , (2 Tim 3:1-5) realizing that as Christians we all want to be learning and applying what we are reading from God's word. I knew going in how long the oil change and 30K inspection was going to take. I had no issues with the service at AutoNation Spokane. What I have issues with are these items. Setting an appointment is like pulling teeth. It sucks. I realize they are under construction at the moment so understand having a long lead time to set an appointment. Their automated system (set appointment via mobile device) simply does not work. Getting to speak with someone in the service dept is also a challenge at best. I ended up calling the sales department, they understand customer service (and pick up a ringing phone) and finally inspired someone to take action. I tried to get through to set an appointment for over a week. I left numerous messages with none of them being returned. When my vehicle was returned to me the seat position was a train wreck. Alll the way forward, all the way up and tilted back as far as it would go. Same for the steering wheel. It felt like what a practical joker would do to someone if they really wanted to mess with you. I saw the person who returned the car to the lot location. He was not vertically challenged nor did he have elastic arms to reach the steering wheel. Petty? Possibly but not something I would expect from a dealership who hopes to have customers return because of a good experience. My trip odometer was also reset to zero. I track mileage for work, this was NOT convenient. I will say that while in the waiting room an employee (sales person?) Offered and delivered a bottle of water. this was a person who simply and cordially offered to make the wait more enjoyable. Kudos to him.

I initially tried to call and make an appointment but no one answered the phone. I left a message on my 2nd try and no one returned my call. Finally, I chatted with someone online and got an appointment for the next day. We brought the car in at 8:00 a.m. and was told it would be done about noon. No called by 3:00, called service desk, no answer, left message, no answer. Finally we drove down and the car was done but was at a different location due to remodeling of the service Bay Area (understandable). I had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes to get car. I heard from another customer that they had made phone calls and no one answered. Also, you have to stand against a wall at the service desk and the area is quite small; it needs remodeled also.

I scheduled 2 appointments for my daughter with the Service team. In each instance, she elected to wait on-site based on the staff's feedback for estimated time to complete the work. In both cases, the time to complete extended several hours past what they originally told her. Further, when she asked for updates after the original time had passed, the team wasn't accurate in providing a new completion time. Since my daughter drove from Pullman so we could get the work performed at a VW dealership, it was doubly disappointing, as she had significant time invested before setting foot on property.

I was in the market for a new midsize SUV to replace my Audi A4. I have driven Audi for years and originally was in the market for a Q5. However someone suggested looking at the VW Tiguan. At first I thought, no I'm not a granola eating hippie a VW isn't for me. But I begin to research them online and after a bit of research I decided to go check one out. I originally went to a local dealer near me to look at one. The salesperson showed me one and we even took a drive, however throughout the process the salesperson was texting or playing games on their phone. I liked the value of what I saw and the reputation of VW as a robust and reliable vehicle. Would not recommend getting your car repairs done at the service center. They have had my daughters car since September 9, for a blower motor and tie rod end repair. It is now Oct 27, there has been little to no communication from them and they rarely answer phone calls from my daughter. If my daughter calls from a different phone they answer and pass her on to the service manager, who is always too busy and never seems to be able to call my daughter back. At this time they have had the car longer than my daughter. It has been a miserable experience.

Bought a car July 31st with one thing that I was told would be fixed and is covered by warranty. Had an official diagnosis so they could order parts. They told me maybe a week. First red flag I guess was that 3 weeks later I still hadn't been called even after I asked the salesman and he said parts were in. Finally got an appointment Septmeber 9th. Since it is a used car I figured something else might pop up and it did. After hearing an odd noise my dad checked it out. The bolt holding the tie rod was literally almost off my car. So the day of the appointment I brought that up. Then they had to order more parts to fix that. Then the original issue was not what they thought so the original parts they ordered were no good and then now warranty doesn't cover that. I was calling almost every day for some sort of update and then my phone calls were not being answered unless I used a friend's phone. I can understand parts taking awhile to show up and people being out sick. BUT. It is October 26th and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CAR. It took over a month without a vehicle before they finally got me a rental car. I've made my first and 2nd car payment without my car. I regret doing business with Autonation Volkswagen. I want my car now.

There are several reasons for my review. First, it took months to get an appointment. After 8 calls to the service department went completely unanswered, the phone rang endlessly with no answer, I made an appointment online. That’s the only reason for the second star, it was easy to do online. BUT the calendar showed zero open appointments for an oil change, only finding an opening 7 weeks out. Second, I showed up for my 9:30 appointment, on time, and notified the service advisor that I was waiting for the car to be completed. I asked if they could look at the turn signal in the passenger side mirror to see why it wasn’t working and was told it was 150$ just to diagnose the problem. Politely declined as that’s ridiculous. Then the service advisor told me they would try to have the oil change completed by 12:00. I have never had to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change. I then reiterated that I was waiting for the oil change to be completed and he didn’t even acknowledge me. I went into the waiting room to wait, overhearing several other customer voice the same frustrations as I was having. One customer stated that she had to drive down to the dealership to get an appointment because her 10 plus calls to the service department went unanswered. Another customer was told that her car was finished and would be pulled around in 10 minutes. She was still waiting for her car 30 minutes later. After 2 hours and 45 minutes I stood from my chair and started walking around the show room, only to find my car parked out front, apparently finished with the oil change. Walked back into the service bay to ask if my car was done, they grabbed my keys and checked me out without another word. 112$ for a simple oil change and they did not even wash my car, or go over any findings from the multipoint inspection. The communication was horrible, between members of their own team, and with the customers in the waiting room. I will never take my car to be serviced by this dealership again. Don't waste your time. Make the drive to Post Falls Volkswagen. I have been waiting for a call back for 10 days on an issue. I have left 4 messages for service "manager" Ray Jones with 0 communication. I have some warranty work I need done, and they want nothing to do with the problem. When I call, I get put "on hold" then get hung up on. If you want quality customer service, look elsewhere. They make excuse after excuse and have no follow up or communication.

Weakest Link: Service. If Audi understood the multiple customer service failures I have endured during the course of ownership they would be embarrassed. I have never worked so hard as a customer to manage expectations, communicate, leave voicemails, emails, personally stop by the dealership simply because a Service Advisor, or Service Manager or GM for that matter fail to provide downstream COMM. FACT: Audi has had my vehicle for ONE month, I still don't have results from Service, no expected day for pick-up either. 1 MONTH GONE. I think Audi Spokane should make my car payment for me, don't you? After all, it sat on their lot, didn't get needed repair, and I didn't get to drive it because of their negligence. Customer Service FAILURE. You would think in that time SOMEONE from SERVICE could have picked up the phone and given me a status update- a courtesy call, after all its Audi.... nah. Speaks volumes.

Careful taking your vehicle for repairs to this place. I was quoted $599 for a front light bulb just part. I called the dealership out west where I bought the vehicle and they said under 300 installed and were wondering why it is soo expensive. Definetly shop around. I am taking my vehicle back to where I bought it for servicing. I will have them look it over too. And install a single light bulb for under 300 including 15 min labor charge.

Received a flyer for a recall, scheduled an appointment over the summer, they claimed this was to fix it, that was not accurate. They ?verified? the problem, rescheduled to November as they didn?t have the part. Brought the car in on Sunday to drop it off, they had all day Monday and were unable to fix the problem because it did not meet threshold with VW. Note they are claiming that we have to have the check engine light on and the flyer, the flyer that they kept during the first appointment.

We purchased our brand new 2020 Passat 2 1/2 months ago. We were told it came with all these amazing features that really fit our families needs and all we had to do was press a button once we got home and be walked through setting all the features up. Got home late so we woke up all excited to get our features working only for the button to do absolutely nothing. Called to remedy it and found out our car didn’t come with the module. When we asked when we could get the module so our car had all the features we were told it had, they said in the fall. They offered to do something for the inconvenience, which we had to reach out several times about, and we have yet to see or hear a thing about the accessory, module or other remedy we had been promised. We worked our butts off so we could buy a car we loved, it’s frustrating that we did NOT get what we thought we were paying for.

Very difficult to rate this service experience. You had my car for almost 4 weeks, during which most of the time I had absolutely no idea what was going on. I have seen that communication between the dealership and customers is very poor. It is difficult to believe that it took this long for Volkswagen engineering and the dealer this long to diagnose and repair vehicle. I was told vehicle had to be driven numerous times for diagnosis yet when returned there was no mileage driven stated driven on the receipt? Since you had my vehicle so long, and I had no idea who had used it I had requested vehicle be cleaned and sanitized inside before returning. It was not. I had also reported electrical issues with the car AGAIN which were not addressed.

Happy with my service here. I’ve had both a window fixed and a key fob installed through this Autonation and both have worked perfectly (of course). I just had the key fob done, and after calling 10+ auto locksmiths that weren’t able to help with my call, I came to Autonation. I was worried it would cost more than I’d be charged elsewhere, but it came out to just about what I had originally hoped, expected, and budgeted for. Great price👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Dropped car off for inspection and diagnosis of a check engine light. It took a week to get a response and I had to go into building and ask “what is going on with my car”. Only then one service person who knew nothing about the car tried to quickly pull up the service. It took that person 15 minutes to do that. They promised they would call the next day to explain what is going on.... no phone call had to call them a few days later. Where they finally gave an answer. Car has been in shop now almost two weeks. Part on back order, claimed the AC is fixed only to have it blow hot air when driving. They charged me for a 975.00 car wash basically. Very disappointed, service lacks a key component to customer satisfaction.....Communication! Unless they can rectify this, my review stands.

We purchased a brand new Audi three years ago from Audi Spokane. Included with the purchase was an Audi extended warranty and gap insurance. We decided to trade our Audi in for a Volkswagen as we wanted to have access to a service department in our town rather than driving 4 hours to get it serviced. It has been two months and numerous unanswered emails and unreturned calls trying to get a refund for the extended warranty and gap insurance. I emailed all the necessary documentation as well. In light of COVID I have been patient. However, two months of no response is unacceptable and unprofessional.

I went in with 10k in negative equity, and a car that no longer fit my needs. There was A LOT of factors getting me into a new car. After 3 months of dealership searching, and trying to make the best decision for my little and I, the remarkable staff at VW in the Valley went above and beyond to get us into a vehicle that fit our needs and got us out of a sticky situation. I purchased a used vehicle from AutoNation Volkswagen that I found advertised on CarFax.com. I told them I'd like to come by for a test drive and they had the vehicle upfront and warming up when I arrived. The salesman was very pleasant and was not pushy. I traded my vehicle in with them and I felt their offer was a bit low considering the condition of my vehicle. I asked them for an adjustment and they refused to negotiate (said they could get fired). This wouldn't normally be a problem for me, but I was not happy that they only gave me 1 key fob for the vehicle I was buying, when I gave them 2 key fobs for mine. When I traded my vehicle in they gave me $3,951; less than a week later they sold my vehicle for $7,952. The very least they could've done was given me a spare key fob for the vehicle they sold me! The finance guy was an entire different experience. Be prepared to refuse all the extra warranty protection he tries to sell you. He started off with the "Preferred" Protection Plan at $3,371, but that price kept dropping each time I told him no, I'm not interested. By the time he gave me the last offer it was less than $1,000. I told my salesman that I didn't want to screw around when I came in to sign papers; I specifically asked that they have everything ready for me to sign when I arrived for my appointment. I already had my financing in place and I just wanted to come in, sign papers, turn over my vehicle, pick up my new vehicle and be on my way. Well that didn't happen. I spent almost 2 hours waiting on who knows what before the finance guy could be bothered with seeing me (remember, I did have an appointment). He seemed particularly bothered when I specifically told him I wanted my middle initial on all the documents. Needless to say he wasn't going to make that happen. His reasoning was that there was a risk that they could get it wrong, or make a mistake. I've never heard of such BS. This guy came off as very arrogant and not customer oriented. Definitely not a people person. So after an hour with him and 2 hours waiting for him, I wasted almost 3 hours of my day after SPECIFICALLY requesting everything be ready when I arrive for my appointment. Bottom line, I'm happy with my new vehicle but I was not happy with the buying experience. They obviously have a high incentive to sell additional warranties and frighten people into buying them. I would not recommend AutoNation.

I had to call from a parking lot with two German Shepherds in my car and no way to get the car in reverse or drive. The service department walked me through my situation and even put one of the service estimators on the phone with me to get me home. They then ordered my part the day I called and authorized them to and had me back in my car in 3 days.

I wouldn't leave a star at all, but unfortunately Google does not give me that option. I'm writing this review so that other consumers are aware of how this company does business. I'm not talking about Autonation as a whole because I've had a good experience at Audi Westmont in Chicago. I'm strictly talking about this dealer Audi of Spokane. I'd like to say that Rick (my service adviser) is a good employee who went above and beyond. He honestly is the reason I kept coming back until the dealer simply didn't give me a choice. On 05/19/19 I brought my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige TDI to be serviced under warranty for a bad dome light and the MMI screen not closing all the way when the vehicle is turned off. Invoice #764130. When I went to pick up my car I found my dash cam unplugged and my interior vent assembly damaged. I did not leave the dealership I showed Rick my service manager and he apologized for the inconvenience and assured me he would get the part on order to repair the damage that there tech caused. On 06/19/19 I brought my 2016 Audi A6 Prestige TDI to be service under warranty again for the MMI screen clicking and to replace the damaged vent assembly that there tech damaged on 05/19/19. They said they had a master tech work on my vehicle this time and apologized again. The tech fixed the clicking noise in the MMI screen and installed the new vent assembly and trim. Invoice # 765260. When I went to pick up the car I found the trim around my new vent assembly does not match. Rick agreed the vent trim did not match and said they would look into why. Fast forward to 08/21/19 the dealer could not find a vent assembly with the same trim for my vehicle. My trim is discontinued even though my car is not even 4 years old. I told Artie the GM of this dealer and Ray Jones the Service Manager that I am NOT satisfied with the repair on my $78,000 MSRP Audi A6. I gave the dealer 2 options that would satisfy me the customer #1 remove the trim off my old vent assembly that the dealers service tech damaged and install it on the new vent assembly that is not damaged. #2 Replace all the trim in the vehicle to match the new trim the dealer service tech has installed. Artie the GM has advised me that in his eyes the repair is done and that I can pay them per hour to reinstall the trim. At this point I'm furious It's been months and I understand a lot of that time was the dealer researching why they couldn't find the correct part but this is a unacceptable outcome to a very terrible experience to begin with. I will not let this dealer treat me this way and I've weighing out my options at this point. Audi of America has stated they do not agree with the dealers decision in this case but cannot force the dealer to do anything as they are ones who damaged the trim. Previous issues... I'm ashamed to say I've bought a new 2014 VW Jetta TDI at this dealer that when purchased was promised a body kit installed later that week before I went back to my home in North Dakota which ended up taking months after the purchase. I've had my 2012 Audi A6 Prestige 3.0 serviced here and I was told I needed $4500 in repairs when in reality I only needed a coolant valve and a new electrical plug. That was 25,000 miles ago... On that same service I was also charged an extra diagnostic fee so the tech could verify what coolant valve was leaking (the 3.0 engine only has 1 coolant valve on a 2012 A6). Strike #1 damaging my car and not being honest about it (I had to point out the damage) Strike #2 Making promises to repair and then backing out of promises (service manager Ray already agreed to try and swap my old trim on the new vent assembly) Strike #3 Artie telling me that my car isn't special, that it's worth 6k and he'll buy it from me if I'm not satisfied with repairs. He gave me his personal number then told me to stop calling it. (said it would be harassment). He will literally insult you and then ask why you are raising your voice. My car literally is 1 of 1 for 2016 (Audi Exclusive Package). Love Audi, hate this service.

In June 2018 I had only the back driver's side brake done. I was told at that time the other brakes were fine. I needed new rotors, pads, and calipers and that came to over $700. In March 2019, I took the car up for an oil change and general inspection. I was told by your mechanics at that time all the the brakes were good for at least another year. They were not. Recently the brakes had been making grinding noises. After an inspection from a different place, I was told all the brakes needed to be replaced, including the brakes your mechanics just changed out. They were so bad it was metal on metal. I replaced all the brake pads, rotors and calipers, including the ones your mechanic did less than 10 months ago. The mechanic I took the car too said the brakes were so bad, he couldn't even tell that any work had been done at all. I showed him your invoice to prove I had just put new brakes on the back. To top it all off, the other place charged only about $325 for the same work you did. Never again will I ever have anything to do with Autonation. When people ask me what I think I give them the horrible details of what it's like dealing with you. If I could put a grade on here, it would easily be a failing grade.

For a 1st time buyer I was very a little nervous! Doug Fredicks got me into a used car that day. And might I also add that this used car is like brand new, low miles and perfect for me so far. I had no intentions of buying that day I was just looking. But when evrything felt right I ended up driving home with my new car. My favorite part of all of this is I did not feel pressured in any way and that was important to me. I also found a few things when I left and brought the car in and they were willing to fix it all . Took my '03 Jetta in for some weird performance issue. They tested the car, checked everything out and found no issues and got me back on the road. Their complimentary multi-point inspection found that I needed to get a couple of things replaced! The staff was amazingly professional, communicative, and genuinely friendly.

The dealership was very obliging and helpful in identifying my options and evaluating lease/purchase options. I settled on lease and was helped through the paperwork. It is a new car with lots of safety features that all seem to work. I have not had to take it back for any repairs or discrepancies so I cannot comment on the repair work. However, I was introduced there and have a first maintenance check scheduled for Spring. They were very thorough in briefing me on controls, options and settings before I drove it out.

I recently purchased a pre owned VW and that sales process was straight forward. I think it took less than 2 hours all together which was great. I did research on the pricing and was able to get the car for about $1500 under NADA and Blue Book pricing which was great. The dealer would not negotiate any further. I have never purchased a used car before but I was very impressed with pricing and the car was super clean. It was a 2016 Passat and aside from a few small scratches the interior looked like no one have ever been in the car. Would recommend Autonation and their certified pre owned inventory if you are looking for a car in that market. I also had them schedule PDR and wheel repair. They guy that does this work did a great job and the wheel looks brand new and the small dent on the door is completely gone. Was able to get into the service department quickly to have that work done and I am really impressed.

I bought my Volks Bettle in 2012 and up until yesterday everything was good. Yesterday was different. I went in to get the car lube and oil change and they told me that the car needed new brake fluid. I already had been there an hour and it would be 45 minutes more so I said ok. Then about an hour later they came and said that they couldn't do it because no machine available or the mechanic couldn't, then she told me the fluid wasn't really that dirty I could probably go with out. They should of told me right away the problem. So were they just out to get more money or what? They did me the lube and oil free.

The service advisor was outstanding and did all she could to try to deal with fixing the NAV system. VW's process is inefficient though. Not her fault. The oil change was great with the wash. The issue was the oil was not completely filled and on our road trip the next day I had to find a dealer to get the appropriate oil to add .5 liter to get out of the B zone in the manual. Not sure if the car ate oil or the tech did not check after filling and waiting the extra minute. Otherwise I would have rated a 5.

Euro vans are hard to work on and have difficult electronics. Two other VW repair shops were unable to fix the steering angle sensor re-program glitch. Auto Nation stayed overtime and worked until the problem was solved. They certainly went the extra mile.

This has been absolutely the most horrible car buying experience I have ever had. We called back the next day as the car was too small for our family to try and cancel but they said you signed the contract and there was nothing they could do. I specifically told them I wanted to make sure I could afford the down payment so I wrote a check and wanted to see if the car would fit our growing children since they were not with us at the time. We called back the very next morning stating these two key aspects and they said there was nothing they could do. We were told this has never happened before...someone trying to return a car that they truly couldn't afford and that was too small? So I said in the history of car sell/buying...no one has tried to return a car the very next day? I was told this has never happened to me ( the salesman/manager). This is not the experience you should have when trying to purchase a car. Especially when you made it known to the dealership what factors determine if you want the car and if will work for you. Tell your friends to go and test drive only...but buy elsewhere.

Scheduled a service here because our local guy was out of town. Scheduled a 10:00 am appointment and was told it would take 1:45. Drove in from out of town so it was our only vehicle there in the shop. When we had not heard back from anyone by 1:00 we returned via shuttle to find out the status, they had not even started with the only explanation that the shop had gotten backed up. The shuttle driver was friendly, but we are going to stick with our local guy.

They never have people to answer calls, order the parts or do any service. Dishonest shop!! False advertising!! This kind of shop makes Spokane shameful.

First time in the sales force was really nice and helpful. Since the car had some air conditioning problems, it took a little time to resolve. It was not a good time for the salesman to take time off so I dealt with the Sales Manager and a umber of people trying to get an answer on when the X5 would be back for me to have it checked out by my mechanic. Only issue was being able to talk to someone since everyone was busy all the time.

After learning about the release of the Volkswagen TDI cars, I called dealerships all over Montana, Idaho and Washington. All were relatively pleasant to deal with. When I called AutoNation I knew I would be buying a car from them. I got all the information I needed and ended buying my car over the phone sight unseen. They even worked with me on the price of my car, which no other dealership would do, especially the one I deal with locally. I felt very comfortable with every aspect of the process. They even gave me a ride from the support to the dealership as I was coming from Montana to buy my car. I felt like I was among family the minute I arrived. I met everyone and got the our of the dealership. I test drove my car, which I might add had a full tank of fuel something most dealerships do not do anymore, I knew I made the right choice. I signed the papers and got on the road for my 6 hour drive home. They even called to check on me on the drive home. what a caring group of individuals. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend them if you are in the market for a car.

Run, don't walk away from this dealer The sales person, Kam, very friendly and was a good experience until came time to pay for the car I had decided to buy. I put about a 1/3rd down and I told them wanted to pay the balance within 5-10 days as needed to move some money around to pay for it. They would not hold a check for a few days until I called them with OK to deposit. Said I had to go ahead and fill out all the finance papers. anyway. Told them I had sold some stock and needed it to settle so could move the money into my checking account and that takes 4-5 days, had sold the stock on Monday Went back 3 days later to pay it off and was told I could not as they had sent the paperwork to the bank, but THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHICH BANK IT WENT TO, so I could go there and pay it off a 70 mile one way trip wasted. Still waiting for them to tell me which bank and where to pay it off. Bought it Tuesday night tried to pay off Friday morning, Was told they would contact me as soon as they knew where it went. That was Fri morning , is now Tuesday afternoon still no word. They kept touting the fact it was a "certified used car" and had to pass a rigorous inspection process one of the reasons I bought the car and passed on another identical car with 10,000 fewer miles at the same price. The last paper the finance person gave me was an "as is" no warranty, then he said had a 60 day warranty. A Certified preowned VW Warranty carries a 2 year-24,000 mile warranty. So I was misled, PROBABLY MY BAD FOR NOT ASKING ENOUGH QUESTIONS. Their certified is NOT VW CERTIFIED, so beware of this little item My next car will be from Dave Smith who will hold a check for a few days, and are just as friendly and easy to deal with as Auto Nation, They did hold a check for 3 days until I called them ok to deposit, they are willing to go a little farther than Auto Nation is to make a customer happy. Auto Nation's excuse is they are to big, so guess they are so big they don't need my business anymore. Every negative review the GM says to call him on this forum and gives his number. Number is for the computer directory , not personal at all. have left voicemail, get no return call, so evidently not very interested in taking care of problems, like hoping nobody will call him, same for finance dept. Here it is a week later ad I still don't know where I can payoff the car. Timeline Nov 15, Fri Tue night Purchased car put $6500 down on a 14,997 VW Passat Nov 18 Fri Morning tried to pay it off was told I could not as paperwork already sent to the bank. They immediately send all paperwork out as they are so big. Was told they would send me an email with bank info I could go to and pay it off . As they didn't know where it went, Hard to believe that. No way they don't know where it went Nov 21, Monday night still have not ben notified. Nov 22 Tue morning, tried to call the GM who has posted his number posted on Facebook review page. Get a computer asking how to direct my call. Finally get connected to the voice mail for the GM that says he is out of the office Nov 17 through Nov 20 and he will be back Monday Nov 21, so leave my number and waiting for a call back. It Looks like he post his number on Facebook to try and make it look like he cares and hopes nobody try's to call him Nov 22 Tue Afternoon try to call finance dept told only one person there and he was busy, left voice mail message again. Nov 23, still no return call from GM or Finance , so giving up and posting this review. 5 star rating went down to a 1 star, (no star) in one week for lack of customer service, honesty , and lack of communication, so again run , don't walk away.. Dec 13 Follow up: received a call about 10 minutes after posting above. Don't know if was a result of posting, or giving the receptionist a hard time about phone calls not returned and no body to talk to. Today Dec 13 was the first day was able to pay off the car at the credit union. Autonation was in such a hurry to dump the paper, Credit Union had to return it to them the first time because paperwork was not complete. Credit Union funded the Loan on Dec 13. I paid it off Dec 13. and ended up paying an extra $32 for the privilege. Made 3 trips to Spokane and paid off on 3rd trip. after several phone calls to see if they had received the paperwork and funded the loan. The Diesel buyback however was smooth and easy to do and had the funds in my account on Tuesday Morning after doing the paperwork on Saturday Dec 10. Purchase was not dependent upon completion of the buy back as had the funds to independently pay off the Passat Purchase to replace the Diesel Jetta TDI.

I'm the owner of a TDI Jetta that will be purchased back by Volkswagen. I've been looking for an EOS to replace my Jetta for quite some time, (they're hard to find). I found one at AutoNation VW in Spokane. I live on the west side of the state so I called and talked to Isaac about the 2015 EOS they had for sale. We were able to work a deal over the phone and I drove 300 miles to finalize the purchase. Everyone at AutoNation was great to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone. It was well worth the drive.

I took my Q5 in for an oil change. As far as I can tell the technical aspects were fine. I suppose they changed the oil. At least the beep telling me I needed service went away. The problem was the guy at the service desk. Not exactly Mr. Personality. Seemed angry and not at all providing a great customer service experience. It took nearly as long for him to process my transaction in the computer as it did to do the oil change. Get better software for starters and maybe invest in some customer service training. The last time I was there, a different service person said to me at the time I was paying my bill "If you can't rate me as a 10 out of 10 for my service please tell me now so I can fix it". !! I gave that guy a 10.

In February I brought in my 2013 Jetta GLI Audubon for routine service - it's the second Jetta I've bought from this dealership. The appointment was supposed to take an hour, an estimate by one of the service technicians. Before my appointment, I made an effort to reach out to AutoNation and Volkswagen Service to ask them how long it may take, and that if it's going to take longer than an hour then I will need to arrange transportation to get on with my day. I never received a reply back from AutoNation about the accommodations, but went to the appointment anyway. They offer a complimentary car wash when you bring your vehicle, which is great and I take advantage of, but after taking my car for longer than the scheduled appointment time, they left my car in the back parking lot - unwashed. I had to walk around the sales building with one of the service specialists to even find my car. It really needed to be washed, because after having the fuel and cabin filter replaced during the service they performed, it reeked like gasoline inside the cabin. An email was sent to me asking to fill out a survey regarding my experience, and I did. Frank McCauley from Customer Service contacted me and wanted to resolve the issue. He was very nice and very professional. He offered to schedule me an appointment to have my car fully detailed (Wash/Wax/Shampoo) - I still have the emails for evidence, because let's face it, you need it when dealing with these guys - at my convenience, complimentary. I asked if I could wait until the weather was nicer because it made no sense to have it done in February with the weather still bad, and that was not a problem. However, when I tried contacting AutoNation to take them up on their offer, Frank McCauley specifically, I received no reply. Email isn't 100% reliable so I call the dealership and speak to a Mr. Roach, who I suspect is the service manager. I am told by him that Frank hasn't worked there in a while and this issue must have been from a couple years ago. He asked that I forward on the emails anyway and he would review them. That was about 2 weeks ago. I called AutoNation again to speak directly with Mr. Roach again and the receptionist told me that he was on the other line, but that she would take a message and have him call me back as soon as possible. A week has gone by and I've yet to hear back. The sales department at AutoNation is phenomenal. They know what their customers want and how to get them into the right vehicle for the right price. However, the service department at AutoNation makes it entirely undesirable to bring the car you just bought back to the people that should be familiar with it most. This is the second significant issue I have had with service at this dealership - the first being with my previous Jetta. Same issues. Last time I had to meet with the General Manager to get anywhere and that in itself took much longer than it should have. I'll know better for next time.

Bought my pre-owned certified 2011 Jetta TDI there and will never go back! Months after buying it the check engine light went on. Took it in to get it fixed and they tried charging me hundreds to fix it when it is still under warranty. They couldn't seem to find my warranty until I brought my step dad in then it showed up all of a sudden. Less than a year later the radio went out. Good thing I was still under warranty at that time. Now a year and a half later the radio goes out AGAIN!!! I called to get it fixed and they absolutely will not do anything to help me. They had me call Volkswagen of America for them to help but they won't do anything unless it is pre diagnosed to which I won't put another penny into Autonation for that. Was promised a call back on whether they would diagnose it for free a week ago and have yet to hear back. Absolute worst service center and management to deal with.

Ive bought several cars from this dealership, I've went back in with those vehicles I've been ignored, treated poorly, and had an overall horrible after the sale experience. Once the sale of the vehicle is over then you are no longer important to them. Yes you may get exceptional service the day you buy, but after the keys are in your hand and the money in theirs, they don't care. My advice, go somewhere else.

I went to AutoNation Volkswagen looking for a 2015 Passat. I was greeted promptly upon arriving by Justin, and he quickly located 3 different cars that matched the description of what I was looking for. He treated me with respect and I soon felt very comfortable dealing with him. I was pre-approved for an auto loan from my bank before I went shopping for cars. Justin informed me that he could probably get me a better interest rate through another lender, and I was pleasantly surprised when he actually did just that. The whole buying process went smoothly with no problems. The price of the car that I decided to buy was fair, and I did not feel like I needed to negotiate. When it comes time to trade in my Passat for a new model in about 2 years, I definitely will return to AutoNation Volkswagen. I hope that Justin Johnson is still working there when that time comes, because I trust him and he made the buying experience fun and stress free.

We bought our 2012 Jetta there & have had all but the last oil change there. In September, I was having problems & took my Jetta in to be looked at. The battery had been dead two days in the morning. They put a charge on it and told me it wasn't the battery & needed more diagnostic. Well, I left and took it to be checked by a parts store. Actually I took it to several the next day who said it WAS the battery. I bought a new battery & had it installed. No more problems. Why then did your service people basically not be honest? P.S. There's a defect in the latch to the fuel tank cover. The plunger sticks down in so it won't open when you tap it. Make sure your plunger is popped out before you close it or you'll get very frustrated trying to open it to refuel!

I was looking online to find an affordable new car. I had been looking around for quite some time, and I decided that I wanted to come and check out a Volkswagen Jetta. I recently purchased a new vehicle at AutoNation Spokane and can't say enough about the quality of service and ease of the buying process there. We arrived to look at used VWs and Audis, and were greeted by Sales Associate Justin Johnson. He was relaxed, yet informative, and eager to give us details on any vehicle we expressed an interest in. WE test drove several cars from the VW/Audi lot, and Justin made sure we knew he was willing to show us any car on the 8 AutoNation lots. His objective was always to help me find THE car that best fit my criteria, not to just sell me ANY car. I ended up trading in my Subaru and drove away in a brand new one (Crosstrek XV)! The paperwork/finance ppotion of the buying process (which is usually my worst nightmare!) couldn't have gone smoother. My husband, son, and I were STARVING, so Justin offered to get the paperwork started while we grabbed a quick dinner down the street. When we got back he had everything ready to move forward. After the purchase Justin thoroughly walked me through the features of my new car, as well as service options available to me. The whole experience couldn't have gone smoother, and I am THRILLED with our new car from AutoNation!

I bought a used 2013 Passat SEL DTI. The only features I wish were included were a heated steering wheel and the to have A/C seats, otherwise perfect! I wish it performed a bit better in the snow but it does well enough. Fun to drive and looks amazing. The fuel mileage is the main reason I chose the car. With using the auto start in the cold weather 2-3 times a day, I am still averaging 580-640 miles per tank and I fill up for under $50. Very happy and would recommend to anyone who wants a reliable, fun, sporty and efficient car to drive!

I'm giving this poor not because of the person directly helping me, but because of the managers in the background. We got our certified used vehicle history and I asked about several software updates that had taken place. I was told that certified used meant everything was tip top, and not to worry. Well, we started having software issues within a few days. Heated seats, seat settings, lights, wipers. etc. I was still thinking we could just take it in and would still have given a decent, review but when I went 45 days later to get my extended trip permit I was told the bank had not sent in the title and I could not get one. Once I talked to the bank I found out that the dealer had not sent it in to the bank, and when my loan officer called on my behalf she was told that oh well, someone will be in Friday, we're clueless. Meanwhile I'm to pick my adopted son up from the hospital in TN on Friday and need my car when I return to transport him home. So I had to call the dealership myself and literally be in tears (thanks Suzie for understanding) and be on hold 21 minutes, and finally got a hold of Jerry who realized it was their issue and overnighted me some trip permits while he tried to figure out why nothing was taken care of by the people who were suppose to take care of it. So there are definitely some good people there, but you might have to jump through some hoops to get someone to hear you.

We bought our Passat TDI about a year ago and just had the 10K service done. The car gets great Milage as advertised 45mpg on the highway ( i drive a little fast so it could have been even better) and 35mpg around town. It does have road noise issues, but we'll see what some different tires do for that when these need to be replaced. We have a Volvo as well and overall the Volvo seems to be a step up from VW, but we are still pleased with the Passat. The service has been great. No hassles and great customer support.

Purchased a 2012 A4 - Logan was the salesman. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to - no pressure at all. We went on an extended test drive and he was engaged in our conversation and questions the whole time. After the sale, he helped me understand the electronics and additional features. We were looking for a New TDI Passat. We negotiated over the phone, & via e-mail as we live out of state. Auto Nation gave us a Great deal on our new TDI Passat, they gave us a more than fair offer for our trade in. It all started when we came in to get an education on the different models of VW's. I was considering the Jetta Sports wagon. Our Salesman Ed was new to the dealership but not to auto sales. He answered all our questions and listened to what I was looking for in a new vehicle. He did not waste our time trying to "up sale" us. A used Jetta Sportswagon was coming in that weekend. He kept in touch with us on its arrival. Sadly he was not working the day we came in to see the vehicle, but Adrian helped us and we went home that evening with the exact vehicle that I wanted at a more than fair price. The dealership worked seamlessly with our USAA car buying service. We appreciated that they let our dog Boomer in the dealership that evening as it was quite cold out side. Boomer enjoyed the treats and all the loving.

They are straight-forward with their pricing, very knowledgable, very honest and sell a quality product. Their sales manager, DJ, is a miracle-worker with #'s and their business manager, Matt, is a finance wizard! They do not pressure you and offer many options within your budget. Our salesman went far beyond our expectations in finding a pre-owned car for us. He worked hard to find a car that fit our desires in style, comfort, price, and mileage. The finance person secured an interest rate well below what we had prearranged. Both persons stayed well beyond their quitting time on a Friday night to complete our deal . After finding out my (no longer reliable) 17 year old van was going to cost 3x-4x what it was worth I had to quickly find another car, Being an unsupported, single Mom of 2, living from paycheck to paycheck, I couldn't imagine being able to find an affordable, reliable newer model used car. I actually worked with Duane Montague from AutoNation Mazda, Mitsubishi, Chevy where I began my search. Duane understood my situation and helped guide me in my search which easily ended with a Certified Used Volkswagen Passat. They worked with me to stay within my budget, expedited the process and even stayed late so that I could drive it home that night.

It was seeing the level of costumer service for our son that brought my husband and I back just a week later to purchase another car from Auto Nation as well. Our salesman, Nate, helped us to obtain just the car we were looking for and Clint, the finance manager assisted in getting us a finance agreement with payments we can easily afford. These people really took care of us and made the car buying experience fast, easy and totally enjoyable. We were never pressured in any way and they were able to answer all of our questions completely and satisfactorily. It is very rare in todays world to get to deal with a company where customer service is truely their primary concern, but Auto Nation is one of those rare places.

I recently bought a certified pre-owned 2010 Jetta from Autonation VW, had a great sales experience with the salesperson Crystal and walked out the door a happy customer with my new car. A week later things go horribly wrong with the electrical system due to a leak in the windshield that had been replaced and not reported on the car-fax. Feeling horrible for the inconvenience, they had my car towed, provided me with a rental and took care of the repairs and made sure I was happy when I walked out the door. I must admit that I was most pleased with their attention to customer service and I thank them for their helpfulness when it came to my new car. Thank you Crystal and thank you DJ.

I have been researching the market for TDI Jetta Sport Wagons for the last year and I decided that was the car that I wanted. I have had VWs and Audi's for years and I personally think they are the best engineered vehicles out there. So I decided to test drive a 2013 Jetta Sport Wagon with the DSG transmission, and I was really amazed with the overall smoothness and responsiveness of that car. If you were ever skeptical of the top end of a diesel, don?t be, they have plenty of power and top end speed for any occasion, not to mention 48mpg. James was my salesmen and he did a great job of allowing us to really put it to a road test. Bear in mind I wasn?t necessarily looking to buy a car on the day I came in to test drive one but the sales staff really made it simple to make the transaction. They gave me a very fair trade in value for my 2004 Jetta and were very fair in all other negotiations. The VW sign and drive deal is an awesome deal and with 0% financing which I qualified for made it too easy for me to buy a car that I knew I wanted. They didn?t push me into anything, or make me feel like I had to buy a car. I have owned a lot of cars in my life and this was the first time I have ever bought a ?new? car. I?m at a point in my life where I wanted a car that I don?t have to work on to plan a trip. Which is funny because I?ve worked on cars all my life but there is a good feeling of being in a new car, it?s something I think everyone should feel. If I ever do buy another car, I will definitely allow Spokane AutoNation to make that happen, we have all heard of war stories of dealerships but that place was nothing but a fun, very relaxing, cool place, everyone was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would never have believed it if someone would have told me that buying a car would be a easy and simple as it was. I still do have some buyers remorse as maybe I didn?t need a new car, but it?s fading now as I have a car that I did my homework on and all the people at AutoNation made that decision very simple for me. I really don?t think I would have received the trade-in value and the bargain that I got here. I?m very happy to have bought from James and AutoNation.

A few years ago I took my 2002 Jetta in for a factory recall to fix a electrical problem with the sunroof. I drop my car and left it to be fix. I had my daughter pick the car later that day. She called me on the phone and was in tears. When she went to pick up the car and the driver side seat belt would not retract and was pulled all the way out. Two years before she had rolled a car when she hit a patch of black ice and the seat belt save her from going through the wind-shield. Since then she will not get in a car with bad seat belts. The service desk man told her they didn't do any to the seat belt that she must have broken the seat belt and "you must not have noticed". They offered to fix the seat belt for $350.00 dollars with no discount. I came down to talk to them about it and the service desk man didn't even talk to me just call the service manager. The service manager flat denied they broke the seat belt and it was not their problem. By this time I am really mad and starting to yell at him. He was a big man and tried to physically intimidate me. He told me to step out the service area into a side service bay and then threatened to call the cops. Now that is what I call service. I took the car to my mechanic and had him check out what had happen and the belt's electrical squib had be fire by an electrical short probably when they were working on the sunroof electrical circuit. DO NOT buy a car from this group!

I would highly recommend Logan Neil and Sales Manager Chris Scott. Awesome sales experience over the last 15months. Ordered and Purchased a new 2012 Golf R and they facilitated and accommodated every request I had during the delivery process. In June 13' I purchased a 2012 Certified Jetta TDI for my wife and it might have been the quickest in and out car purchase I've ever made. Chris and Logan must have thought I missed them because just sat week I purchased a 2014 Audi Allroad and I can't say enough about the price I received on the new car or my trade in. Totally ecstatic about the whole process and we love the car. I am recommending them to friends and family and there is a good chance I will be back in the dealership looking for a Q5 and another Jetta TDI for a family member in the next 60 days. Needless to say we won't be traveling to Seattle for any future Audi/VW purchases. Great work guys!!

I would suggest waiting until Sept 2013 for Parker Volkswagen to open in Post Falls, Idaho. These guys will lie to you, make promises they will not keep, treat you like crap, treat you like an idiot, and just overall make you hate them. I overpaid on service and It was free under warranty. If their service guys believe what they say, they are [non-permissible content removed]. I wish I could leave less than 1 star. If you have a great desire for drama and getting screwed over, this is the place for you.

The sales guy, Chad Fairchild was awesome. No pressure, laid back, actually enjoyable experience. But, the service department leaves much to be desired. Another, local well known dealer is opening a VW store in Post Falls, Id. I would recommend them. AutoNation VW service will lie to you and generally treat you like trash and like an idiot. Save yourself some aggravation and headache by avoiding this place. For the time being, I am actually going 125 miles to the tri-cities for my service work until the new store opens in Post Falls. I am that dissatisfied. We should be able to leave 0 or negative stars.

Because my particular market is small, compared to other Audi markets, I was concerned that the pricing would be high. I was wrong. This dealership was more than willing to compete with both Seattle and Portland pricing. The sales staff was knowledgeable and helpful without the dreaded 'pressure' to buy.

We purchased a Q5 from Jim M. and it was a very easy and enjoyable process. We knew what we wanted and since no vehicles were available, they ordered the vehicle and it was here within 2 and 1/2 months. Jim did not try to sell us any features we did not want and it was one of the easiest auto purchases we have experienced. Jim took the time to cover the basics of operating our new vehicle and did a followup call a few days after we received the Q5.

48.9 mpg is our best so far. Usually averaging 43-46 mpg. And sporty too. Had the Prius previously, no comparison, this feels like a sports car.
